Have you tried the G/W Sliver matchup? And there are decks with almost no creatures. You can't side out all your removal so you'll be left with dead cards in that case. |

Last time I checked, gush is not legal in extended. Or legacy. Or vintage.
And Tormod's crypt is time-shifted. Meaning its not legal either.
Spellstutter is not so great, considering most decks' cards in pauper have mid to high range mana costs. And if you do run into decks which are aggressive, such as affinity (Spellstutter Enforcer?) or the green splash red stompy deck with its efficient burn, they tend to be too fast, outclassing your 1/1s for 1 and 2 mana with 2/2s for 1 mana.
PS dropping a creature on turn 2 or 3 with counters in hand is kinda like card disadvantage vs aggro.
I guess what I'm saying is, if the decks aggro, cut some counters. If the decks control, cut some weak creatures. Either way, find the focus and work on it.
PPS Maybe fathom seer instead of gush? |
