| puppeteer conjuror is bad and Etherium Astrolabe (I assume that's what you mean by astroglobe) is also bad. They're pretty good together in the late game but you obviously lose if you draw them early instead of removal or better early drops and your opp has a nice start. With that deck you win almost always in the lategame but you can easily lose if your opp curves well. |

Hey, you said:
First off I have aquired quite a bad cold, which could explain me uncharatistically rushing decisions and not properly thinking through matters, lots of snot a very bad throat and very little sleep.
When you catch a cold you need sleep, period.
So if you think you played suboptimal that might come from underestimating matter and overrating mind.
and the advice sc4rs gave is really usefull, play with a group of people who are eager to improve their game. Discuss after drafts and make notes on those drafts and discussions.
It might sound like more studying but it will help to take it this serious.

Okay yes the advice is really good but I do not have a playtest group or anything of the such the best I have are these and other forums. I try to get similar sort of things going on here and in other forums have had some sucess. People like zapgaze, dv8r have been really useful and others as well but those are two that really stand out from this site.
Okay I think because of how I worded my inital post I have not got much input or maybe because its quite a complex matter to discuss on goal setting and changing your perception of what is an obtainable goal? I think this may have been one of the biggest factors in why I played so badly recently and I was looking for reinforcement of this with the thread and Im still not sure if it how I worded the thread or the subject matter itself is why there has been so little feedback on the matter.
Has no one ever reached 1700 or 2000 it does not matter what the goal was just that they achieved it and then right after the goal noticed a visible drop in there performance? |
