Hey, everyone... this is my first time posting a deck on ML forms so be kind please... My goal with this deck was to create somthing original and fun for me to play. I've been testing it for a while now and it's been working pretty well... I was recently given the suggestion of adding Syphon Life the the deck and that didnt sound like such a bad idea... Please post input and any suggestions you may have... Remember: If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!

looks like worm harvest is your only real win condition. How about adding more, or adding a search card for it? Like diabolic tutor, or Beseech the Queen?

You dont think a 2/2 that esentially spits out 3/3s every turn is a win condition?... Ive considered Beseech though... what do you think I'd cut for it though?

a 2/2 that makes 3/3's IS a win condition, and you have 4. But, it's also a 2/2 creature, which is very fragile, and easily dealt with. The reason I attributed your decks viability to the harvest was that it is essentially infinite 1/1's

I really feel like you are missing some of the best cards in both colors. Garruk, Bitterblossom, Kitchen Finks, and Thoughtsieze. I really think that you need some real way draw cards. Harmonize was the go to card. Now you must splash blue to get that. I do like the idea of Worm Havest as the win. COW should be a one of in the side and not in the main at all. I do understand that it break the symatry (spelling) of retrace. You really only need it vs Ful mage and control decks.
4 [ALA] Elvish Visionary
4 [ALA] Viscera Dragger
They should be cut for sure!!! I think that you should have something like this for creatures.
4 Kitchen Finks
3 Civic Wayfinder
3 Liege
3 Shriekmaw
3 Garruk
1 Puppet Clique
1 Divinity of Pride
Spells should be something like this.
4 Bitterblossom
4 Fertile Ground
3 Infest or Firesprout (very key card)
3 Raven's Crime
3 Thoughtsieze
2 Worm Havest
26 lands.
Civic Wayfinder is so much better with Retrace then Rampant Growth. You want lands in your hand right? Plus it could beat or block.
Sideboard items could be;
Pithing Needle
Terror/Eyeblight's Ending
Wickerbough Elder
Primal/Profane Command (meta)
Cloudthresher
I have not really tested but all of the above are great cards that I would try to work in. |

I like where youre going with a lot of these suggestions... but with the addition of things like Bitterblossom and Garruk its just a lil too "Bad Rock"-ish for me and not what im going for... but i do like the idea of putting finks in the main... also i think civic wayfinder>>>>>rampant growth and i just couldnt think of it when i was building the deck... Puppeteer clique is also a good addition imo but i dont want to cut the visionarys or draggers because i like card advantage and they can become a threat with a warhammer on them... im probably gonna add another worm harvest and cut a Crucible and move it to side since i still want one in main because it ends up being a good engine with terramorphic expanse... divinity is a definite no though because ive never really consistantly had 5 black mana but i never have mana problems. thanks a ton for the input... and more is greatly appreciated... keep it coming

Since you don't necessarily want a better deck (hence, no Bitterblossom, Chameleon Colossus, Thoughtseize etc) you need to be quite clear on exactly what it is you think make your deck funnier to play than "badish rock".
