Well I pulled 3 death baron's so i decided to give building zombies a shot.
// Lands
4 [MOR] Mutavault
9 [B] Swamp (1)
3 [B] Plains (1)
4 [EVE] Fetid Heath
4 [10E] Caves of Koilos
// Creatures
4 [10E] Lord of the Undead
3 [ALA] Viscera Dragger
2 [10E] Spineless Thug
4 [ALA] Tidehollow Sculler
4 [ALA] Dregscape Zombie
4 [ALA] Death Baron
4 [EVE] Stillmoon Cavalier
// Spells
4 [SHM] Beseech the Queen
4 [LRW] Nameless Inversion
3 [LRW] Profane Command
// Sideboard
SB: 4 [B] Terror
SB: 4 [LRW] Thoughtseize
(need to finish the sb ofc)
It works alright atm not a whole lot of goodies for zombies in t2 but with death baron, stillmoon, and sculler there are some seksi choices. =D
Mutavault is also good in here because it gets big between lords of the undead and death baron's.
Anybody have any constructive complaints or criticism? |

A lot
I tried to work out a MB build but it didnt work out w/o damnation, some important cards that might help:
Graveborn Muse is great card advantage
Makeshift mannequin is a fun addition, but only a 2 of really
Thoughtseize main might be better than board
Overall, the deck is fun but not quite competitive yet, it could use 2-3 more key cards to be a very useful deck
Edt: Btw nameless inv. is usually a good substitute for terror |

| You should consider crib swap. Good answer for chameleon, plus is re-usable with lord of the undead. |

I've toyed around with zombies myself, its fun and it beats 'stuff' fairly often. Personally I found the hardest matches being RDW, Any deck with Chameleon's, and obviously Faeries. So basically the current tier decks which is kind of a drag to playing it. Basically for it to work you need to be able to deal with those. Thoughtseize mainboard would be good, and probably 3 0-rings or Crib swams mainboard as well. I'd sideboard eddicts maybe and/or Infests too.
Here's a similiar list.
Zombies!
// Lands
4 [MOR] Mutavault
3 [SHM] Reflecting Pool
5 [ALA] Swamp (1)
3 [ALA] Plains (4)
4 [10E] Caves of Koilos
4 [EVE] Fetid Heath
// Creatures
3 [ALA] Viscera Dragger
4 [ALA] Tidehollow Sculler
4 [ALA] Dregscape Zombie
4 [ALA] Death Baron
4 [EVE] Stillmoon Cavalier
4 [10E] Lord of the Undead
// Spells
3 [LRW] Crib Swap
3 [LRW] Profane Command
4 [LRW] Thoughtseize
4 [LRW] Nameless Inversion
// Sideboard
SB: 2 [10E] Cruel Edict
SB: 2 [10E] Loxodon Warhammer
SB: 4 [SHM] Faerie Macabre
SB: 3 [ALA] Infest
SB: 4 [ALA] Oblivion Ring |

Fleshbag Marauder!
I'd put this in the board instead of Cruel Edict. Especially if you start running a mannequin or 2.
Although I haven't played with your list I think you're being generous with the white mana. You only need it to play the skulkers and crib swaps. I'd cut all the reflecting pools and go down to 2 plains and 8 dual lands (or 2 arcane lab, 8 duals and 1 or 0 plains)
I truly think you need graveborn muse in the deck (2 of) and I really like thoughtseize maindeck to beat the 8 wrath decks and getting rid of the T2 bitterblossom. |
