I have play tested this in the past a few times, and hasnt worked out very well till now... i changed a few things, put in some weird creatures, and its been helping me ever since... see what you think of it...
//Lands(24)
2x vivid creek
2x vivid marsh
2x secluded glen
2x underground river
2x faerie conclave
7x island
7x swamp
//Creatures(11)
3x mulldrifter
3x shriekmaw
2x phage the untouchable
3x dread
//Spells(25)
4x broken ambitions
3x nameless inversions
3x rain of tears
3x drain the well
3x bitterblossom
3x boomerang
3x makeshift mannequin
3x whirlpool whelm
//Sideboard
3x cancel
3x infest
3x fulminator mage
3x oona, queen of the fae
3x guile
Ya, this is actually working for me on work station, ive only lost to bad draws, and sometimes elves when they got god draws... but either way, this is pretty well built... if you think i need to change anything, just comment, and all comments are appreciated!! |

May I say it in letters to let you understand? S H I T.
The whole deck is just a broken idea. Phage? Are you kidding me? Dread? Omg...
At least you should have created a working mana base, but NO CHANCE! Vivids without Reflecting Pool?
I don't give a shot for this deck. However, some players might test it in some games, but I make sure that I won't. |

What needs to be added to the md.
+1 Mulldrifter (its a 4 of in ALL mannequin style decks)
+4 Fulminator Mage (best land removal in the format)
+2 Tidings or Mind Spring (gogo card draw!)
+1 whirlpool whelm (clash for ca and gives time to build up defense for creatures)
What needs to be taken out of the md.
-2 Phage, The Untouchable (too mana intensive and costs WAY too much)
-3 Rain of Tears
-3 Drain the Well (its unplayable, the other version was playable b/c it did damage)
do you have any sower of temptations by any chance?
there one of the best mannequin cards atm and would do really well as a 3 of
that should help alot.
also rethink your sb its very bad such as 3 oona? lol wut
try 4 infest
EDIT: +1 Inversion -1 Shriekmaw (Maw can be dead in alot of match ups so play 2 md and if you want 1-2 more in the sb) |

Good job not knowing what cards are in standard. |

I can hardly see any sentences that say this must be budget... It's a shit anyway.
(Phage came out in Xth, so it is T2) |

i agree. hes not net decking, you shouldnt just call his deck or his idea anything.
if you wanna make it UB only, try agony warp instead of nameless inversion, is wayyyyyyyy better.
id try to make it a river kelpie deck too...with raven's crime and oona's grace (pupeteer clique too) since those cards are really cheap and underlooked...
anyways...there are lots of 3 colored cards you cant afford to miss just for the sake of making it UB, im talking of grixis and cruel ultimatum...just give it a thought... |

uhhhh, how the hell do you manage to put 3 Oona in SIDEBOARD at the cost of Dread and Phage?
It is the best bomb in U and B.
Your deck should look more like this:
4 Mulldrifter
3 Shriekmaw
2 Oona, Queen of the Fae
2 Sower of Temptation
3 Wydwen, the Biting Gale
4 Tidehollow Strix (early trade 1 for 1)
4 Bitterblossom
4 Cryptic Command
2 Makeshift Mannequin
4 Agony Warp
4 Infest
4 Secluded Glen
4 Underground River
4 Sunken Ruins
4 Reflecting Pool
4 Swamp
4 Island
I am afraid that a budget deck must be in its ideal form without the expensive cards - if the deck becomes better with cards like Cryptic Command and Bitterblossom, then you are playing a bad version of the deck and that should be avoided. |

Try the Kelpie deck.
Shriekmaw
Makeshift mannequin
Mulldrifter
River Kelpie
Raven's Crime
That's the main package (minus cryptic command)
UB Kelpie is a decent budget deck. I'd personally add agony warp, broken ambitions, cancel, murderous redcap and Oona, Queen.
Cut land destruction entirely. It doesn't belong in control. The only good LD card is fulminator mage but that's not a budget card.
For mana base, If you're not running cryptic command, and want to stay budget, just have 13 islands + 12 swamps. Your money is better spent on rares like sower of temptation or whatever.
If you've got cash, try sower of temptation.
Don't mind the a-holes. They are probably just lashing out because they feel insecure. |

| Budget decks are almost always losing decks, so don't expect to win too much. |

| Um wait wait wait not all budget decks lose ok. Old elf decks cost idk 20 bucks at most. The new elf ball for t2 if u go mono greed is kinda cheap. |
