Ok, so... This deck runs around the Devoted Druid/Quillspike w/ or w/o Rite of Consumption combo. The combo can be pulled on turn three to win (w/ RoC). Besides the combo, I am not entirely sure what to keep or add. Suggestions?

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
4 [7E] Swamp (3)
4 [10E] Llanowar Wastes
4 [TSP] Forest (1)
4 [LRW] Gilt-Leaf Palace
3 [MOR] Mutavault
2 [10E] Treetop Village

// Creatures
4 [SHM] Devoted Druid
4 [EVE] Quillspike
4 [EVG] Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 [10E] Llanowar Elves
2 [LRW] Garruk Wildspeaker

// Spells
4 [SHM] Rite of Consumption
2 [MOR] Bitterblossom
3 [LRW] Profane Command
4 [LRW] Nameless Inversion
4 [LRW] Thoughtseize
2 [SHM] Beseech the Queen
4 [REW] Terror

// Sideboard
SB: 3 [10E] Gaea's Herald
SB: 1 [LRW] Eyeblight's Ending
SB: 2 [MOR] Bitterblossom
SB: 1 [LRW] Primal Command
SB: 1 [SHM] Everlasting Torment
SB: 1 [SHM] Kitchen Finks
SB: 1 [SHM] Vexing Shusher
SB: 3 [10E] Naturalize
SB: 2 [LRW] Cloudthresher

The singles in the SB are that way, as I'm not quite sure which I should run. I'm not exactly the most familiar with Standard, besides that Red Deck Wins, and Faeries are most populous, and very powerful.

You should add 2 lands, 4 chameleon, 4 finks and 2 Thresher and take out 4 nameless, 2 Garruk, 1 Rite of consupmtion 2 blossom, 1 profane and 2 beseech the queen. Rite seems like it will be a dead card alot of the time.

I have been tweaking with a quillspike deck for a little while now. Here's what I have:

10 forest
5 swamp
4 gilt-leaf palace
4 twilight mire

4 devoted druid
2 llanowar elves
4 birds of paradise
4 quillspike
4 kitchen finks
4 chameleon colossus
3 creakwood liege

3 profane command
3 rite of consumption
2 cankerous thirst
4 nameless inversion

sb:
1 creakwood liege
4 thoughtsieze
4 terror
4 eyeblight's ending

The sb is obviously incomplete and is pretty much just a bunch of alternate removal. Still working on it.

Yeah, I added Creakwood Liege. CL > Bitterblossom for GB. Definitely helpful. Reinstated Kitchen Finks, and just won another 2 games because of them. I'm not sure I'm going to run the Chameleon's though.

More testing to come. Just went 3-0 against 2 people. Smile

some new changes to mine:

4 devoted druid
3 quillspike
4 chameleon colossus
4 creakwood liege
4 kitchen finks
4 wren's run vanquisher
4 birds of paradise
2 llanowar elves

4 profane command
4 nameless inversion

sb:
4 terror
4 thoughtseize
3 bitterblossom
4 naturalize

went with more creatures just keeping the needed spells in md. Vs heavy control I can swap in bitterblossom and thoughtseize and sometimes naturalize since I've seen a real uprising in enchantment and artifact use. I know it runs 10 mana dudes in there but it works out since I run 4 profane command. It's hard to recurr a dead creakwood or cc unless you have a few mana dudes out. Also helps to end the game real quick via direct damage to the opponent or give tons of guys fear.

im testing it out with Diety of scars, which can be played on turn 3. Possibly going to run something like raking canopy for the exalted decks im running into. 4 damage to the fliers might be helpful. It's either that, or more cloudthreshers. I'm also looking at running a mix of Nameless and Terror, for the sake of the black shards artifacts decks.
