Round 1 Paired vs bw, game 1 get a couple of two for ones with arsonits and fire at will, play out maruaders and valleymaker proceed to win Game 2 I get a recumbent bliss on his wilf leaf cavilers hold the ground until i get enough mana to play my fat oincluding yet again maruaders and valleymaker to take the game.
Round 2 Paired vs mono blue very dull games he does very little game 1 whilst i drop a horde of threats he bounces them all with some blue eventide rare but by then he is at 2 and i have burn trail. Game 2 he starts with iniatae then sonomancer then, garvegil duo then steel on sonomancer my first play of the game is to burn trail his sonomancer, from ther he draws nothing but lands whilst i lay ghastbark ghastbark, redcap valleymaker and proceed to win.
Round 3 Paired vs gb, we both stall on 2 lands but i am able to get beats on with suture spirit, he recovers first but my curse plus bliss hold him back i am able to eventually draw out of the screw and win with, accensioned up maruaders. Game 2 He stalls on land again whilst i have draw only plains but i get both my ghastbarks are are able to get some beat on with them leaving zealot back fpor defnce he lays soul snuffers, chumps with it gets it back with had and reapeats by this time i have drawn a swamp and a marudaers, he has red cap for it, i attack in and he only blocks with snuffers, i conspire barkshell blessing, dropping him to 3 and of course i have burn trail ftw.
Feedback appreciated. |

| Heartmender and Hateflayer... bombs you should've taken. Heartmender isn't a game winner by itself, but with a Redcap (B/R) you're still open if you pick a G/W. Hateflayer is simply a game winner... it usually wins the game on the next turn, draft 1/1 chumps if you have to in order to survive till he is played, but take him. |

| They always seem late to me sorry i know it annoys you and i honestly did not need the hateflayer with my current curve which i find to be very important in sse and i was not a situation where i could make picks just to upgrade cards already in my deck. 4 5 drops and 1 6 drop is to high a curve for this format already in my opinion certainly when you have no ramp. |

| Why are you so against taking the strongest card in a pack? Switching colours p2p1 is fine when the reward is one of the top 5 cards in the set. You have already have the redcap, and should have already had a macabre, so the transition to black should have been entirely doable. And just when I thought you wouldnt do anything worse than burn trail over knollspine, you go and take fire at will over hateflayer. You do not have any game winner that wins games more quickly, efficiently, or as decidedly as hateflayer. Untapping with hateflayer and losing is a hard thing to do. Fire at will is nice, sure, but if people see 3 mana open they will often attack/block in a way that makes sure a FAW isnt devastating, and it does nothing vs. threats that don't attack (for example, an untapper with POF or POG on it, or perhaps a ballyknock trapper which, while it does attack sometimes, will probably stay back if a FAW is anticipated). |

If you can not see why i took the hateflayer then i think you underestimate the importance of a good curve in this format, he costs so much that many times buy the time you get to play him it will not even matter. I really do not want to be running more than 4 cards 5cc or higher and I already have 5, sometimes you have to make decisions like this, a 7 mana creature has to be really powerfull to make it into my deck but i alreay have a liege and a valleymaker as wellas other powerfull drops. The fire at will is exacly what my deck need the hateflayer was just more of what I already had.
Its not me, if you get either apprentice or MWS plus netdraft, then you will find people rundrafts in drafts4you which tou can join for free on magic-league. |

| Cutting ghastbark and replacing it with hateflayer makes your curve a bit higher, but makes your deck much stronger. With 2 burn trails, chains, recumbant bliss, and redcap, you shouldnt need fire at will to keep board control. Having something to slam down that says "win target game" is good in a deck with plenty of removal. Vallymaker fits the bill, sure, but hateflayer is still a welcome addition. |

| there are some rules in shm eve eve, and one of those is, if you see incremental blight, you take it, no matter what are you playing... unless it comes with an Oona or something like that, with a pair of flasks or manamorphose or a combination of both you can play it, even if you are not playing black... |

| Burn Trail Over Blight was certainly correct in this context. Though I cant imagine you can learn anything from a draft where burn trail goes 5th. |
