Floor Rules and Penalty Guidelines Updates

by Weedmonkey on 2012-09-10 05:05 CET
Today, there have been minor changes to the Floor Rules and Penalty Guidelines.

Floor Rules

A section has been added to the Floor Rules to cover acceptable play applications on Magic-League. This is to ensure integrity for players, and to ensure judges have access to the resources they need to if rulings are required.

You may only use play applications in tournaments that have all of the following features:

  • Deck security codes

  • Log files for matches, that are stored in plain text.

  • Print whether a deck is sideboarded or not at the commencement of a game.

  • Penalty Guidelines

There have been minor changes to the Penalty Guidelines to bring them into line with the DCI's Infraction Procedure Guide.

It is advised that all players read the Floor Rules and Penalty Guidelines documents so that they are familiar with what is expected of them.
