by Gerrardfo on 2008-03-30 13:02 EST
On Saturday, May 10th, there will be a Standard (T2) (with Shadowmoor) Invitational at 8AM EST/2PM CET. Prizes will be awarded in the following manner:
1st: $100
2nd: $70
3rd/4th: $40

All trials leading up to the Invitiational will award the winner an invite for the May 10th Invitational.

Rating invites will be given to:
*Top 32 Constructed Players
*Top 8 Limited Players
*Top 4 Eternal Players

Team invites will be given to the top 4 teams.

Rating and team points will be checked before the date of the event. Members of the top 4 teams must have at least 50 points to receive an invite. Rating invites will not pass down if a player has received an invite through other means.

A Bye will be given for players who have won two trials. A player may only have one Bye.

Please remember that there will be no masters until that date.

These invite methods are subject to change if necessary. Please contact Gerrardfo or CMA-Flippi if you have any problems.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

The time ml limited rating makes a difference!

Btw, usually like 40 people end up turning up at the invitational...

by TwoTrees on 2008-03-30 18:58 EST

this means i NEED to win a trial.

by Eldariel on 2008-03-30 19:03 EST

We haven't had one in a while. Let's see if I could muster enough time to play two Trials for the Bye.

May 11 is mother's day...Maybe it should be on the 10th or a different week to get more people that are qualified to actually play in it.

<-- May 10th is Saturday unless I'm a blind squirrell.

by Ironicus on 2008-04-05 22:31 EST

why you don't guve invitation to runner up? Loosing in final isnt't that bad. You will need more poeple to make this master decent or it will be veru small ;)

by Shooter on 2008-04-08 18:49 EST

better there are less ppl, so it's faster :D

by Pit42 on 2008-04-14 19:18 EST

Nice.

by ykpon on 2008-04-27 15:15 EST

why no invites for top "other" players? :o(
how is limited rating better than other for constructed tourney?
