New update for opt betatest

It has been quite a long time since the last update, but I am happy to tell you there is a new update to OPT (formerly known as G.O.).

You can download the client here

Be aware that because of the developments of the server it was necesary to create a new usertable, so every account has been deleted.
You can create a new account by logging on to magic-league.game-server.cc, username New, password New.
type /reg username password to create your account. You will automatically be logged off, and you can connect with your newly created account to magic-league.game-server.cc

Most important features of this newest version are:

*multiplayer.

You can play multiplayer on OPT, either team or free for all (be sure to load the right desktop theme before you join a multiplayer game)

*drafting. You can also do drafts on OPT. Every player can create a draft table and start a draft on opt.

You can create a draft table or multiplayer game by right clicking in the main screen and then choose table lobby --> create. From there on the options are quite easy.

There are a lot of smaller changes to the program, but those are the biggest and most important ones.

The channel to go to for opt is #opt. You can also discuss opt in the opt beta forum on our board.

I haven't tried this yet, is it easier to use than MWS? More importantly, can I run Opt draft minis?

I just downloaded the programm, anytime i want to connect it tells me the username is not on the server and anytime i want to register a username + PW it tells me i am not connected. So my question is how can i connect to magic-league.game-server.cc without having a username to register a username ;)

Starting to look better, but the GUI still has huge problems, and in general the program is very hard and slow to use...

all i heard when mws came out is "horrible" but really its just horribble players unwilling to look for where the new button is or to stupid to learn the hotkeys

Not bad, really not bad !
The interface should be more intuitive, but nothing that practice cant overcome.
Ill test a couple of multigames and will be back for some notes.

dakkon, post problems in the opt betatest board, or ask it directly to jb when he is online.
