That was a mistake on my part actually - as I was playing around with the list and after 6 months being off I had forgotten the ban list.

Ironically Misstep was actually rarely useful for me throughout the day often being clutter in the hand. Its probably one of those cards to be good you need to run a full set of as you want it early and as I was running it as a support counter spell it didn't do what I needed.
