The bant deck was apart of an article on star city games, I really don't think it is optimal atm. Needs alot of testing and is advertised as midrange but is more like late game. The mana is a little restricting and could be better, maybe when RtR comes out.

To be honest, this format is really not fun nowadays.

It has gotten worse, and this trend has been observed since after the mirrodin block.

Even my friends complained the same thing and most people are not buying the expansions starting from Innistrad till M13.

The sets are horrible and not including the few exceptional good cards other than that it's like gross.

Yeah I wanted to give the Bant list a run. It was ok but if I didn't see Thragtusk the deck felt pretty bad. Visionary is underwhelming without Pod. Ajar was an all star though. Won me a few games. I'm not sure how the Ramp matchup actually goes because my hands were awful against mastikor, but I would say it is in the Ramp deck's favor.
