No, it does not. Child goes directly to the command zone from the battlefield. If you want it's effect, it has to hit the graveyard.

boggart ram gang and vexing crusher both have {R/G} symbols in their casting costs. Honoustly, I played against him and ramgang did alot of dmg to me, but I didn't think of it, and I'm preeetty sure neither did Ameni, as he played very fair otherwise.

Anyway, I'm happy edric won, he's just such a beast.

An illegal deck is illegal even if the player playing it , is not aware of that.
There is someone out there, that played a legal deck, and lost to him, not making to the invitation zone.

funny enough there isn't. I lost to him, and I qualified, and his round 1 opponent played an "illegal" deck aswell. Don't get buthurt for someone else.

What's the difference in intentionally cheating and this, I could also say that I copy and pasted my Delver list with Force of Will and Brainstorm. Would you disqualify me then, even though I gave you my word that I simply just copied and paste the list and didn't realise that the cards were illegal until it was too late?

bobrimton, because you just told us you were going to do it. :) also, as much as players like to think, judges aren't dumb. :)
also, he had hearthfire hobgoblin which is illegal for him as well. but he clearly wasn't doing this purposely to cheat.

judging is a joke here once I had to tap serra angel for attack then opp plays borderline ranger and demonic tutors a card and has to put a random card back=50% demonic tutor was it in that case.

I don't think the risk of getting an auto game loss if opponent notices your deck is illegal and then being forced to replace illegal cards with basic lands gives you higher overall +EV than just playing a legal deck.. It's your own fault for not taking a free game win if your opp played a card illegal in the format.

I would feel cheated if I lost to a player who happened to have a 16 card sideboard or something tho since there's no way to know that.

There are two 2-0 decks decks that show up before the 2-1 decks that are in top 4. Why do the 2-0 place higher?
