Was extremely unlucky in the finals :( I def thought the meta would have more storm and not as much delver though. Prob should have played more snags and fewer echoing truths and more bounce sb. You'd think 9 answers to delver would be enough with all the card draw but i guess not. Spire golem seems good for the mirror but prob not better than gush+ a low land count. Im starting to think that 14 is the right number.

I played shitty reanimator. Game 1 was really funny, my opponent was at 4 and was all tapped out and had a Mulldrifter while I had Hand of Emrakul with no cards in hand.

I topdeck a Muddle the Mixture and I was like "sweet, I can Transmute for Doom Blade ftw!" Turns out I already played all 3 of my Doom Blades and I lost 3 turns later :(

i dont think the post matchup vs delver is piece of cake, it depends on what version of delver u are facing. I played against post in the first round and won 2-0. i think the sideboard plan of boarding in stormbound geist, hydroblast and the light counters is legit. I think the MU is actually very close and skill intensive.

Any of both delvers is easy.
7 MD removal pieces (3 of them flashback) + 4 serrated arrows + glimmerposts + blockers that draw cards.
Post SB, 4 Pyroblast make the matchup even better
And yes, you need to know how to play the matchup, it's not just about slinging cards and win

Won R1 with White Weenie vs Infect. Standard Bearer beats his entire deck, especially with Bodyguard Backup.

Lost R2 to Goblin Storm in a pretty close match. He Probably got eaten by Delver, because it's the decks worst matchup.

The Matchup is slightly negative, indeed. But only if the Stormplayer knows that he has to fish for an early kill. You shouldnt wait a single turn against a deck with tons of oncolor hate and a pretty fast and resilient clock. However my friend, reading wins. I said: "...in a pretty close match". Not Matchup. Just saying.
