Strange the delver shouldn't lose to the Naya deck

And also what happened to the restoration angel ?

The Talrand should combo with snapcaster mage combo with Restoration angel when using flashback gives 2/2 token as well

The list is kinda terrible, the Gut shot should mainboard 3 instead of 1...

Anyone can explain why Dev play in this manner ? I don't see it as practical way of building the deck ?

Not enough room for both main with 18 lands, and Talrand offers more explosive opportunities. The white was purely for SB angels to swap talrands for them in a few matchups, but without blade splicer the angel loses a lot of value, and cutting it let me play more caverns.

As far as losing to naya, my draws were kind of mediocre in the finals. Game1 he had 2x cavern 2x huntmaster 2x thrag and I didn't draw an image and fell behind in the mid game. Game2 he again had 2/2/2 of those vs my weaker draw. It's an awkward matchup since 4x cavern forces you to board and play differently than you normally would. Image is pretty big there but I didn't draw one either game.

Nice Naya Deck, cg Duodax! This time, i like the playsets :D

I like the Top 8, pretty diverse. All decks are fine exept the ones using Talrand :p Sadly no control at all in the tops. Superfriends ftw :D

Aww, that's pretty bad, phantasmal image definitely comes in Handy.

The cavern of souls is great, but probably the matchups was unlucky for you.

That's one thing I hate about Delver deck, they need good draws and right cards at the right time. Otherwise can get thrashed real bad. Happened to me few times :(

Anyway the 2/2/2 was bad matchup definitely and don't think much can counter unless you sideboard Ghost Quarter which most people doesn't.

Btw I was wondering, when you tapped for mana, can I in respond to your mana tapping, I used Ghost Quarter shot it and counter the effect ?

Anyone can explain on this portion ?

Short Answer: It doesnt matter.

Explanation: Cavern of Souls' second Ability creates mana with additional characteristics. These characteristics remain even if Cavern is removed be4 the Mana is used, which is also very unlikely to happen. And well, you cant remove the Cavern in response to creating the Mana, because mana abilities don't use the stack ;-)
