GreenBear on 2012-07-11 00:42 CET Is rancor going to be the biggest mistake since skullclamp or is this just magic-league. by Sebas_ on 2012-07-11 00:54 CET Is this magic-league by Poker_is_Fun on 2012-07-11 01:01 CET Rancor is nuts. The end. by AxiomBlurr on 2012-07-11 01:21 CET Nothing can compare to the almighty clamp.
by MitchMachine on 2012-07-11 01:30 CET Rancor is overhyped. Vapor snag is still legal.. by GrizzGreen on 2012-07-11 01:35 CET Hey mitch, they still get rancor back... by mtgsoldier on 2012-07-11 01:44 CET Nothing good can come out of a deck that plays rancor. And nothing good can come out of a format where there are multiple decks with it. by YiiiMTG on 2012-07-11 02:24 CET not true grizzgreen.
by darkwizard42 on 2012-07-11 03:27 CET I didn't play finals, dropped cause I had to leave. I would get rid of the retarded sword set and probably add Melira or Beast Within.
by darkwizard42 on 2012-07-11 03:28 CET Oh and Yeva was okay...never really used the EOT ability that much, she was just a nice 4/4 I could flash in... by YiiiMTG on 2012-07-11 03:40 CET u used the list that i was playing last T2 trial.. was pretty bad.
by ChristPunchr on 2012-07-11 04:45 CET Rancor is nowhere near as good as some seem to think. People sensationalize things severely. It's a good card, but it was easy to play around plenty of the time. Settle down. by Poker_is_Fun on 2012-07-11 04:57 CET I found that Augur is a great card for solar flare to bring in against strangleroot decks. A two drop that blocks the front end and helps you find removal is pretty sweet. It also blocks SOWAP a turn as you dig for an answer. Works OK as the last target of your sun titan chain but not amazing. I think he's fine in the side. 1 of snapcaster was great as it almost always lets you recycle a counter, DOJ, and at the very least a ponder or a reduced cost Forbidden. It gets better games 2 and 3 when you bring in your match specific answers.
by MuTiLaTiOn_X on 2012-07-11 05:02 CET how is yeva? by noxious770 on 2012-07-11 07:10 CET I was wondering if anyone else was testing Revenge of the hunted in this UG/monoG poison decks? by noxious770 on 2012-07-11 07:18 CET I was wondering if anyone else was testing Revenge of the hunted in this UG/monoG poison decks? by MitchMachine on 2012-07-11 09:37 CET @grizzgreen, rancor gets countered if u bounce/remove the creature in resp to the rancor... by Wichtelman on 2012-07-11 10:31 CET MitchMachine... dont tell them how to play good magic... :P by Wichtelman on 2012-07-11 10:31 CET MitchMachine... dont tell them how to play good magic... :P by dennooze on 2012-07-11 17:04 CET Gratz Mitch, seen you few times at top, you are surprisingly good.
by kumagmd on 2012-07-11 19:57 CET The monoG infect deck has 7 ways to stop spot removal, and a lot more if the removal is damage-based (pump spells). Again, playskill helps. But that monoG stompy looks awesome!
