I didn't play finals, dropped cause I had to leave. I would get rid of the retarded sword set and probably add Melira or Beast Within.

Additionally in the maindeck I am missing 1 Thrun, 1 Bellowing Tanglewurm and maybe even 1 Melira if that infect deck continues to be netdecked.

Game is strong vs. Naya as your Strangleroots have trample and the rancor keeps em slamming in for more damage. GSZ for Viridian Corrupter helps stop speedy Pods

Rancor is nowhere near as good as some seem to think. People sensationalize things severely. It's a good card, but it was easy to play around plenty of the time. Settle down.

I found that Augur is a great card for solar flare to bring in against strangleroot decks. A two drop that blocks the front end and helps you find removal is pretty sweet. It also blocks SOWAP a turn as you dig for an answer. Works OK as the last target of your sun titan chain but not amazing. I think he's fine in the side. 1 of snapcaster was great as it almost always lets you recycle a counter, DOJ, and at the very least a ponder or a reduced cost Forbidden. It gets better games 2 and 3 when you bring in your match specific answers.

I think solar flare is very well positioned in post M13 T2, alot of people are down on it though. We'll see..

Gratz Mitch, seen you few times at top, you are surprisingly good.

In fact i'm very surprised that Rancor can be countered that way. Is there any rules related to this so that I can read it up ?

The monoG infect deck has 7 ways to stop spot removal, and a lot more if the removal is damage-based (pump spells). Again, playskill helps. But that monoG stompy looks awesome!

How'd the solar flare play? Any proposed changes with playing experience?
