r1 vs GW Township

Game one I think I imprint Helix on the sceptre after I exiled Viridian Zealot and race him to victory.
Game two I side out Sceptres and Side in the Gifts package. Reanimate Sphinx and race him before he finds a path.

r2 vs Mirror

Very tight game one where he plays first and has a Scepter with Bolt and a Gheist and I have a Scepter with Helix and a gheist locked in my hand and stuck in 3 lands. So if I play Gheist and gets counter I am dead so having to outmanuver the race for 4-5 turns with 1 casting cost things till i get 1-2 lands.

Second game he keeps a hand with no blue mana and loses. He makes small mistakes both games and manage to outplay him in both games despite him having a Scepter with Helix both games.

r3 vs Affinity

Game one I go first and get turn 2 Scepter with Path and he can never beat that despite his 2 Shrapenel Blasts and two Ravagers.

Game two I manage to hold him off with a couple of helixes till I reanimate Elesh Norn.

r4 vs Twin

Game one he undervalues my disruption and goes for the kill. I stop him and kill him before he gets a second chance.

Game two I side out the Sceptres and he sides in 3 Anient Grudges. He draws 2 and have no use for them. He is stuck with 4-5 creatures but no Twin or Kiki-Jiki. When he tries to combo off I have we fight a long removals war over one Exarch, I win and then he plays a second Twin, but I have the Dishenchant to stop him on the first activation. I get Elesh Norm next turn and a Collonade, with active Lavamancer and it is game.

r5 Mirror vs ykpon

Both games were intense and ykpon was playing almost perfectly but still felt I had control over the games. Drew better as well.

Game one I have a Geist he doesn't and I win the race after a lot of trades and Helixes

Game two I have Relic of Progenitus and win the lavamancer wars after making some favourable trades. (my delver with his lavamancer when he attacked eg) Finish the game with one scepter with Helix one with Dispel to his one with Bolt.

r6 vs Buyubuyu

Game one I keep a week hand of delver 2x Bolts 5 lands on the draw. Draw Magma Jet on turn one and manage to flip my delver. A scepter, a lighting bolt and a Snapcaster later I have leathal one turn before he hits for a Gazilion with Wolf -Run.

Game two I side in the Gifts package and I get a turn 5 Sphinx to race his 23 power on the board while keeping on hand a bolt a Snapcaster and a Path so I can clear my way through his Nexae.

All in all a good deck but loses badly to Control Decks in my opinion.

And yes I can get 2 cards with Gifts and yoes you have to put them both in my Graveyard.

Why not include a black-producing land if you are gonna run sphinx and unburial? And yes, I do realize you are gonna gifts and flashback unburial.

Thanks for the rundown ody. It should be done more often like the run downs of the GSL matches on Team Liquid. Most
Enjoyable.

Well if you get to 8 mana against the decks you ll use the Gifts package you ll probably have won anyway. Imagine that the previous version didn't even have the thirst so you could get stuck with it in your hand or auto mull. Well 3 colours is hard enough in modern i think 4 is too much, plus the package is like an I W.I.N button, oppo messes up you cast gifts EOT and then put him in a possition that he cant win.

Thanks for the rundown.
Would it be too much if you could add a sideboarding guide? I'm seriously thinking on running that deck on next PTQ.
