by DSD-Steve on 2010-12-03 02:44 CET

The skilless deck is back?

If you have no skill: Play Jund!

by maps on 2010-12-03 03:26 CET

merFUCK

by nahuel_punx on 2010-12-03 04:21 CET

no control decks on top4? =O

by MTGKing on 2010-12-03 05:06 CET

so a midrange 3 color deck with notoriously difficult mana is skilless just because it plays with one cascade card? Sounds like someone who has never played jund but lost to it a bunch...

by Counterlife on 2010-12-03 05:10 CET

@MTGKing
I know right? What is wrong with a deck that you totally dont have to make tough decisions with?

by maps on 2010-12-03 06:00 CET

yeah yeah mill it ship it stew it JUND
yeah yeah shinko majombi JUND
yeah yeah sing it again...JUND!!!
SHINKO, MAJOMBI...

by gypsy on 2010-12-03 06:11 CET

you know u could be the one playing jund instead of losing to it

by Nickname7 on 2010-12-03 10:10 CET

If jund is in first position and it's a skilless deck, do the maths

Congratz jundathan :P

by ChristPunchr on 2010-12-03 11:31 CET

If people want to talk about decks that require no skill, look no further than T2 Valakut or Mono Green Ramp decks.

I hated Jund for a really long time and then I had to play it to test a friend's deck and even though it isn't rocket science, the deck has that mid-range aggro/control aspect to it. Sort of reminded me of old 1.x Rock decks with FTKs.

I am pretty sure that Fae and/or Merfolk get some good stuff to attack the manabases of [many colours]control and Jund.

by Taodd on 2010-12-03 18:24 CET

Who was it I was talking to recently and I said that for extended they should ban BBE, either bitterblossom or spellstutter sprite, and merrow reejerey so that extended could be full of cool interesting decks and not just those 3 decks we've already explored plenty before? They were all "those decks didn't dominate and there's no good reason to ban those cards" and I was like "we'll see." 9 of the top 10 decks in this trial are one of those 3 decks.

Not gonna lie, there's a little smirk on my face. ;)

by Ryk on 2010-12-03 19:23 CET

I lost because Wurmcoil Engine in Faeries
=[

So Luck !

by DSD-Steve on 2010-12-03 21:29 CET

Yeah but better loos vs. Fearies like Lucker-No-Skill-Jund

by ChristPunchr on 2010-12-04 00:29 CET

It's pretty funny that the actual extended season for irl mtg hasn't kicked-off yet, but players are already pissing and moaning about it as though it was.

by gypsy on 2010-12-04 00:39 CET

ya cause ml trials rly matter and show what the real ext metagame is like Taodd

by tchiseen on 2010-12-04 01:17 CET

Like anyone at magic gives a shit if decks are 'interesting'

by [paradox] on 2010-12-05 01:09 CET

demigod jund rulezzzzz im currently 12-1 on mws testing with it :P

by Krastino on 2010-12-05 14:13 CET

Is Preordain so bad in a Fae deck?

by DRjester on 2010-12-07 01:56 CET

Is there a reason those Duresses in the sb aren't Thoughtseizes instead?
