yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah non jund ftw!

by Tuffy on 2010-03-16 02:47 CET

LOL the BR player has pulse tracker x3 main....HILARIOUS trials are sooooo soft

by Vecc on 2010-03-16 02:57 CET

Hm, I had an Open The Vaults list ready for this Trial.. mostly like ykpon's, only without Spreading Seas. Would be my first Trial really. I figured it would rock the format as long as I didn't run into UW. That matchup doesn't look good, even with Negates and Telemin Performance.

by Midzu_Oren on 2010-03-16 03:11 CET

Hmmm, another Esper build is so interest.

by on 2010-03-16 03:51 CET

go ykpon!
i would play this as long as jund is running the tables. and people say this format lacks diversity... people just need to quit being lazy and only casting spells that cascade. this deck proves that jund IS beatable.

deck doesnt need black tho..

GJ ykpon

by tchiseen on 2010-03-16 04:43 CET

I love your deck ykpon. We've been working on one similar for our local FNM. Gonna try this soon!

by Pegachris on 2010-03-16 05:27 CET

ummm my build is most definitely not Chapins. It's the same exact build I topped with the other day. And I would have won game 3 if I had drawn anyone of my baneslayers or manlands. Went through about half my deck and didnt draw a single one. But of course I lose to time once again... :(

by loki3 on 2010-03-16 06:05 CET

Awesome, ykpon!
I love Niels Viaene's deck (in any variation) -- it's a monster. Seeing your cuts, why leave a singleton Jace and not go for an extra island? Sideboard looks tech, though I might go for an extra telemin (if it's really that good) and/or sanguine bond. So you think (firewalkers > flashfreeze)? cheers

by mrwegle on 2010-03-16 06:21 CET

Loki3 I tested this deck with ykpon. Kor against mono Red match only, flashfreeze is good only vs elves and maybe vs naya. Vs jund/rdw purge is much better. Telemin is bad (ykpon why you didn't cut it?) It must be another bond. Prepare to play stupidest mirror ever.

by Mengu09 on 2010-03-16 12:39 CET

when humilied me in g1 i was sure u win this trial XD

with 2 lands and 2 cards in hand, i drew only lands he only good spells :)

nice job ykpon!

by Bantos86 on 2010-03-16 12:39 CET

what is this i dont even

by DragonKid on 2010-03-16 12:44 CET

Well done, its weird that deck isnt supposed to be able to beat jund so good job.

Or bad job by jund players

by nopenopenope on 2010-03-16 12:55 CET

Why everyone play jund? It is a good deck, but there is alot of other deck to play. If you see them alwaysin top4 it's because half of the league play it...

by Molthen on 2010-03-16 13:00 CET

Because Jund is auto-pilot, you can play it with one hand :/

by brimstone on 2010-03-16 18:10 CET

lol @ one hand on the internet, :P

by Mr_DoomZ on 2010-03-16 20:00 CET

Nice matchups ykpon ur lucky to not hit anything uber fast, BLIGHTNING U discard filagree angel x2 gg?

by Zeph on 2010-03-16 20:27 CET

I think that deck has very good matches. I've seen it long ago (when it was more fun) and I knew it had potential. Now I see it on top. Let's see how the other decks respond to this.

by Shagrath on 2010-03-16 22:59 CET

Because jund wins more than any other deck.

by SwordSkill on 2010-03-20 16:20 CET

Jund is luck based deck whitch don't require much skill. Even a blind monkey can play with jund
