first!

by Shyft- on 2009-11-15 18:27 CET

Don't go in there, Dredge ... it's a Trap! Anyone else find the presence of relic+trap instead of Crypt in the first deck a little odd?

by Ayako on 2009-11-15 18:31 CET

2 bye for master ^O^

by Djinn on 2009-11-15 18:33 CET

Go tier 3 decks

So... what happened to the metagame in this trial?

by Shagrath on 2009-11-15 19:28 CET

Atm ravenous trap and relic are way better than tormods crypt

Surely no thoughtcast is just wrong its one of the best cards in the deck.

by corbox on 2009-11-15 21:26 CET

GJ Sirkozi !

I was thinking about deckbuilding around boom/bust with cascade ... JUST AWESOME !!!!!!!!!
Trotsky you are so so right but ... lucky players don't need those kind of cards XD !!!!

by sirkozi on 2009-11-15 21:40 CET

Thanks. Unfortunately I had to drop before semifinals :|

R1 - Faeries
R2 - Hypergenesis
R3 - Faeries
R4 - UW Tron

I find Grove/Punishing Fire combo so sick that I had to try it here. It works pretty well and actually rapes Faeries (-Goyf ;) ).

Canonists side, Thoughtcast main, that is how it should look...

by Qamiqaze420 on 2009-11-15 22:05 CET

go djinn

by Conkisstador on 2009-11-15 22:16 CET

thoughtcast ties up mana and ina acanonist build disallows fatalfrenzy on same turn. he played the all-in affinity

by EMA on 2009-11-15 23:08 CET

Thumbs up for Djinn piloting Sam's list to 2nd place

by Lynolf on 2009-11-15 23:21 CET

I don't understand why Punishing Fire and Grove of the Burnwillows is such a strong combo; you are paying 3 mana total a turn to deal a single damage to the opponent. Or is it strong because it can deal with a lot of creatures?

by TaKK on 2009-11-15 23:43 CET

The latter.

Some mana, those two cards,a couple of turns = wrath of god with 90% of decks

by Djinn on 2009-11-16 02:10 CET

EMA, it's a pt netdeck, saved it just after PT, so I didn't netdeck it from m-l Sam -_-

by is_adonis_cl on 2009-11-16 03:01 CET

you can play the bust whit the cascade of the bloodbraid?

by Vincent87 on 2009-11-16 07:38 CET

@Djinn: Sam = Samuele Estratti, the one who played the list you netdecked from pt.

by EMA on 2009-11-16 08:52 CET

Yeah I meant Samuele

by sirkozi on 2009-11-16 09:54 CET

@is_adonis_cl

Yes you can choose Bust.

by Shagrath on 2009-11-16 11:28 CET

Who the fuck doesnt netdeck? You dont do that?
Some ppl...
And btw, that list isnt from Sam Estratti, cuz that list from all-in-red already existed in the last extended season, so dont say that sam was the "Enlightened One" that discovered that list.
The only things that can be different are some cards in the sideboard.

by wilier on 2009-11-16 12:02 CET

/lol

by Nickname7 on 2009-11-16 12:48 CET

All-in Djinn!

by is_adonis_cl on 2009-11-16 16:51 CET

by sirkozi on 2009-11-16 01:54 PST

@is_adonis_cl

Yes you can choose Bust.
why

by Qamiqaze420 on 2009-11-17 01:21 CET

shagrath: while the majority of people do netdeck, and while there's nothing wrong with it, it IS possible to NOT netdeck and still win... not everyone HAS to netdeck.
