Well Jund is the best midrange deck in the format and with true control lacking the tools (good manabase, good counter etc) it will probably continue to dominate.

There's two reasons Jund is flourishing in this format: It's a refined list and because there isn't dedicated control decks (as Markwerf said). Without control there to balance out, Jund can focus its grunt on other aggro decks, where it shines. End of story.

spyx, Terminate comes in a lot but I board out different cards depending if I'm playing aggro or control.

Against aggro, I'm usually cutting pulses but I cut bolts against control.

If you look at my blog post, I only give matchups for aggro or midrange decks since sideboarding for control is so deck dependent.

The main deck is pretty balanced to deal with both aggro and control so I wouldn't want to cut a Bolt or Pulse for the 3rd Terminate. And I wouldn't want to cut any of the other cards because they provide card advantage or are 4/4 for two mana. Leech needs to be a full set b/c it is our only 2 drop creature, which allows us to curve out with the aggro draw.

I dont understand why people in this game dont see "Hey the meta is dominated by jund! LETS PLAY JUND TO STOP IT YAYYYYYYY"

I have been running a U/W deck that was built to beat jund and have been top 4'ing constantly with it around home and I have some pretty good players... The meta on this site is awful its always bad decks in the top 4

People should notice the tend and play against it rather than just play the "best" deck and hope to lucksack in

Thing is, it "lucksacks in" enough that someone playing Jund is almost always going to win.

Jund is easy to beat, in theory. When Jund gets bad draws, it's easy to beat. With the right draw, there isn't a deck in the format that Jund doesn't beat.

Show me your wonderful U/W anti-Jund control and I'll show you a Jund player who "lucked" his way into 2 blightnings, mind rot, and thought hemorage and you ran out of counters after blightning #2. Then he proceeds to top deck bloodbraid into leech while you top deck land.

It happens. Jund just wins sometimes.
