Eldariel on 2009-08-03 19:14 EDT Mull to 5, tons of removal and metagaming against weenie decks > Lose to Rock. How annoying. Also, finals weren't played out; for some reason Pana dropped. by Almi on 2009-08-03 19:49 EDT YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH!!
by K_Bodrios on 2009-08-03 20:09 EDT Congrats Warninero! by TehDudeAbide on 2009-08-03 20:21 EDT What's shoreline ranger for? by Eldariel on 2009-08-03 20:24 EDT *shrug* Island that pitches to Mox and Force. It's pretty handy to avoid floods while still having the mana handy when need be. I've even won games with it hardcast.
by Delicious on 2009-08-03 21:08 EDT @pret: Why rebuild and not hurkyl's recall? by Eldariel on 2009-08-03 21:15 EDT Presumably Chalice at 2 and Counterbalance; if Wish gets through, you want your Rebuild to get through too. Also, more fringe reasons exist such as True Believer. by ant900 on 2009-08-03 21:52 EDT is that some solidarity?? kick ass! by ssilver on 2009-08-03 22:27 EDT That one of SB looks familiar... oh right, that's Nassif's list from CHicago by LordLink on 2009-08-03 23:45 EDT Holy crap, a non-Blue won a legacy tournament.
by Spyx on 2009-08-04 00:54 EDT isn't 1 relic 1 crypt better then 2 crypts on the side? ichorid brings in needles and it's better if you can trinket for the one they didn't put needle on. by Eldariel on 2009-08-04 04:24 EDT Spyx: Personally I'd rather retain the ability to drop a Chalice at 1 and still use them both. I can EE or Force possible Needles anyways.
by Spyx on 2009-08-04 08:25 EDT I guess there's things to be said for either. Against loam you'd always keep your chalice until you can set it @ 2 though? by Shagrath on 2009-08-04 08:33 EDT "hooray.... im so happy cuz i won a legacy trial...."
by Eldariel on 2009-08-04 08:41 EDT Spyx: Correct. I would side out one or two Chalices depending on how much I have to bring in given that Chalice at 2 isn't in such a hurry as a Chalice at 1 and thus I can usually find it with Trinket Mage and cast it when I have the time.
by Shagrath on 2009-08-04 09:15 EDT I was just trolling, lol.
by Eldariel on 2009-08-04 09:27 EDT The only "offense" I might take is misinformation, which annoys me.
by Pana on 2009-08-04 10:13 EDT countertop goyf is the best deck in legacy's actual metagame. Viva españa! by CalebD on 2009-08-04 16:43 EDT Good top 4s give me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, despite the savage netdecking it can entail.
by Willy_79 on 2009-08-06 15:31 EDT Warninero is our local hero! ;) by Ego_Sum on 2009-08-12 09:32 EDT Why is people playing Impluse over Peer through depths in solidarity, the only reason I can see is tutoring for a land in first turns is that advantage enough to be played against a 5 card depth "tutor"
