Worst trial ever...due to the J4U visits caused by disconnections. There were like 2-3 per friggin' round.

by Vodka_7up on 2009-07-05 14:57 EST

i wonder how the first place deck looks when m10 comes out. does it have to use vivid lands then?

by [BRAYAN] on 2009-07-05 15:25 EST

good list ovmlcabrera and GJ
Go go Clandestino! :P

by Ashmatan on 2009-07-05 15:44 EST

Mono W Kithkin and NO BFT??? WTF???
That's why it's in 3rd. Bottom line.
And what's up with Jund cascade with out the Hackblade? I don't like Sygg, period. Even if he does survive the Charm or Fallout.
-2 Sygg
-2 Nameless
-1 Jund Charm
(+3)+4 Jund Hackblade
+1 Maelstrom Pulse
(+1 Volcanic Fallout) if 3 Hackblade

by Lynolf on 2009-07-05 15:54 EST

Eldariel, being a judge isn't only about making minis, you know... ;)

Vodka_7up: I don't see what's your point. He only has 1 Sulfurous Springs and 1 Karplusan Forest, not counting Treetop Villages. In which way does he feel obligated to play vivid lands?

by Shooter on 2009-07-05 16:07 EST

And what's up with Jund cascade with out the Hackblade?

rofl.

by gre on 2009-07-05 16:45 EST

nice ovm.... this jund s list seems pretty perfect .....

by ik on 2009-07-05 16:46 EST

Hackblade is sooooo bad -.-

by ik on 2009-07-05 16:46 EST

it doesnt draw you cards ;)

by Nikko_ on 2009-07-05 16:53 EST

And what's up with Jund cascade with out the Hackblade?

.....

Joke? You will never cast it on turn 2 with it having haste. You will only cast it on turn 3 having haste if you manage to play a turn 2 Putrid Leech, Sygg(which you want to cut for whatever reason), or another of itself. If you're suggesting it for hitting it off Bloodbraid Elf I'd think Hellspark Elemental would be almost superior in every way. IDK Just saying...

pls just shut up...

by rentintin3 on 2009-07-05 17:32 EST

lol Idk but you drew very well vs me in round 2. I like the maindeck En-vecs though they prolly good. The Sygg cutting dude is a slow playing tird. For sure like 20min to figure out if he wants to attack while Im comp taped out?

by Ashmatan on 2009-07-05 17:52 EST

Isn't that what you want to do when you curve out, Duh? turn 2 leech turn 3 hackblade swing 7. Is it really that hard to figure out that it is a pretty good curve? Maybe trying your own stuff instead of netdecking is good?
And @ rentintin I only seem slow cuz my mouse isn't as responsive as it used to be. I spend more time rolling the ball than playing. Another reason I hate playing magic online. Learn grammar cuz you sound like a dropout. And 20 minutes for a turn? Yeah people take you seriously. And BTW if I could have been able to concentrate, you would have lost to me in the trial, so WTF? With your junk swans deck playing, no grammar havin', noobsauce lovin', plain dumbass mo-fo?

by Beto_cL on 2009-07-05 17:58 EST

bueeeeeeeeeena maldito omar :D

by Eldariel on 2009-07-05 17:59 EST

Lynolf: I've TCd a very large number of tournaments. I've NEVER had this many disconnections in one tournament; they're the bitchiest cases to rule since so much depends on what exactly happened and the judge has no way of KNOWING what happened so it comes down to trying to milk information from two parties and uploading logs and viewing screenshots and it just gets messy. Rules questions are one thing, but disconnections just suck.

by Delicious on 2009-07-05 19:45 EST

what do these decks run snakeform for?

by LexW on 2009-07-05 20:01 EST

Wichtelman

I wouldn\\\'t run Paladin. It really only makes your very good matchup (Bloodbraid Aggro and other Red decks) better, which isn\\\'t necessary. While it survives fallout, it\\\'d be better to just cut them for a few Burrenton, as they can save your whole team while also giving you another one-drop, which are very important to kithkin. Or just cut the Paladin for the 4th Path and a weave or two and then a mutavault or two.

by Dakkon555 on 2009-07-05 20:06 EST

why are you all dissing paladin en-vec? if you idiots would actually play the deck you would understand why envec is superior to bft for mono w kithz ;/

Also hackblade is bad b/c he dies to your wrath effects and hes terrible when you don't have board control

Snakeform > Chameleon Colossus

by rentintin3 on 2009-07-05 20:38 EST

Hmmm Ash your mom chew my hot dog? And you lost cuz your a scrub. If you weren't then you wouldn't have made bad mistakes...

by LexW on 2009-07-05 21:07 EST

Dakkon, if you look at the matchups, you understand en-vec is totally unnecessary.

by Ggerg on 2009-07-05 22:16 EST

kithkin soooo doesn't need forge-tender! like...i guess it's good vs swans so you can take out your goats?!

really guys, just play the deck correctly, and you wont need to add a card to shore up your "weaknesses"

by Murphy on 2009-07-06 00:39 EST

No one talks about the cool 5cc? ahah

by Delicious on 2009-07-06 01:53 EST

murphy, i think your list is pretty good :P

How did snuffers work for you? I haven't seen in for awhile because of infest and the such

by Wichtelman on 2009-07-06 03:27 EST

i never played bft in kithkin and i will never play it...

by Unseen on 2009-07-06 04:16 EST

Ashmatan : Mono W Kithkin and NO BFT??? WTF???
That's why it's in 3rd. Bottom line.

How can BFT help against Bant?

by LordLink on 2009-07-06 04:45 EST

Trolls > magic-league. It's obvious Sygg is better than hackblade in that list, you don't need to justify it to Ashmatan.

5c Control looks cool, trying out a wrathless meta in advance huh Murphy.

by Holzi on 2009-07-06 06:04 EST

looooool hackblade in jund aggro^^

thats a joke^^

by Murphy on 2009-07-06 08:56 EST

Lordlink, in the current meta, i've never played wrath.

Hallowed as always been better in every case possible.

As for the Snuffers Delicious, is pretty cool. lol

It's hard not to search him with the primal command, vs FAE, TOKENS, MONOG, GW, Bant, Etc.

:)

by Avata on 2009-07-06 19:06 EST

"Learn grammar cuz you sound like a dropout. And 20 minutes for a turn?"

An awesome comment, especially given the two or three mistakes just in the part I quoted alone.

WHAT??? Hallowed is better vs. persist creatures, profane command and demigods. That's it.

by Trotsky1 on 2009-07-06 20:23 EST

Reveillark, Dauntless Escort.

by LexW on 2009-07-06 22:54 EST

True, but to say it's better in every case possible is ridiculous.

by totolcc on 2009-07-06 23:15 EST

Paladin en-Vec> Pulse, terror, terminate, volcanic fallout... etc.. etc...

I love that kithkin build... and the 5cc :D

And as for the jund ramp, Sygg> jund blade... cascading from the bloodbraid, gives u an extra draw, and in that build is pretty easy handling the 3 dmg for the draws...

Lastly i'm tired of the current t2, can't w8 till m10, ZEN and so on come out...

by Delicious on 2009-07-06 23:27 EST

i can't wait till bitterblossom is gone and i can never see faeries again

by quicks1lver on 2009-07-07 11:33 EST

snakeform > chameleon colossus
snakeform > reveillark

need I say more?
