Duodax on 2009-07-01 20:04 EST Mega premium draws vs. me. Force, Daze, Bolt and Goyf 2/2 games. by Shooter on 2009-07-01 20:59 EST by Duodax on 2009-07-01 17:04 PDT
by Bushviper on 2009-07-01 22:39 EST <3 Shooter so much right now by Christopholo on 2009-07-01 23:03 EST rofl by Spyx on 2009-07-01 23:56 EST goyf sligh needs more pridemage by Shatta on 2009-07-02 02:23 EST Canadian Thresh wins on Canada Day, seems very fitting by radchenko on 2009-07-02 05:53 EST grande pablo como dominas el legacy crackkkkkkkkkk by TugaChampion on 2009-07-02 06:06 EST As long as Duodax doesn't top4 that's fine by me. We need to stay first in teams. by Duodax on 2009-07-02 06:17 EST Hihi u won´t cuz each Sealed Mini is at least +6 for me :) by Warninero on 2009-07-02 06:21 EST Congratulation Almi, y me debes una xD by Almi on 2009-07-02 06:56 EST Though of troubles of Round 2, i got to the final. Thanks to Warninero for his support and... Well, yes, against Duodax's Gobbos i was lucky. Mull 5 with volcanic, bolt, fow, trygon predator and f/i.
by Eldariel on 2009-07-02 07:54 EST I still find Counterbalance+Stifle/Waste excessively greedy and am willing to bet the deck would perform better if you replaced the clunky parts with leaner, meaner killing machines; seems it worked out for you still though. Good job. by Dr_Nico on 2009-07-02 11:54 EST counter top is a nono in canadian thresh, it's also very weird he cut a bolt and fire/ice for 2 trygon, I don't belive that's anywhere near optimal. by Almi on 2009-07-02 12:21 EST I dunno what "nono" means, but that 2 Trygon are very useful against Stax/Enchantress (not so common, ok) and overall against mirrors and Baseruptions (Cbalance). Furthermore, it costs 3, giving a CMC3 counter for Cbalance, and can cut Vindicate, Doran, Solitary Confinement, Rhox War Monk, Vendilion Clique, Trinisphere, Trinket Mage and more.
by mishimakaz on 2009-07-02 13:51 EST Goyf Sligh needs more Quasali Pridemage. Though it does mess with the mana base a lot. by Dr_Nico on 2009-07-02 13:56 EST You just mixed countertop with canadian thresh and I'm willing to bet it's not anywhere near as good as playing one of the two decks. by mtgsoldier on 2009-07-02 15:15 EST Canadian Trash*
by Eldariel on 2009-07-02 15:33 EST mtgsoldier: No, it's either Thrash or Canadian Thresh; both mean the same thing (Canadian Thrash = excessive redundancy and an unnecessary long moniker; Thrash is already unique). However, this deck is neither - it's really UGr Countertop more than anything else. by DaveK on 2009-07-02 15:49 EST don't get too worked up eldariel, he simply pointed that the deck is rubbish; you seem not to get it by Almi on 2009-07-02 16:51 EST Ok, say that deck is shit, rubbish or whatever, it has proved it's a good deck, as irl as in ml. No more to say. by pG on 2009-07-02 17:47 EST by Shooter on 2009-07-01 18:59 MDT
by Trotsky1 on 2009-07-02 18:15 EST Speaking of canadian trash by Eldariel on 2009-07-02 18:20 EST DaveK: I didn't get that mostly because it isn't. Suboptimal, mayhap, but one can't really call a hybrid of the two most powerful strategies in the format rubbish. by Warninero on 2009-07-02 20:47 EST goyf sligh dont need pridemage, this version is the beast version i play and Almi can say this if is good or not by Bushviper on 2009-07-02 21:41 EST Um Im pretty sure the US is leading the pack in the top 50 eternal area, myself included. It seems that good american players rarely get recognized because the sheer volume of american player on the site seems to disqualify us for some reason. However, there are pleanty of american players on this site that I would put up against any Portugeese, German, Spanish, Canadian, or Brazilian player in the league. by Bushviper on 2009-07-02 21:41 EST Double post. by Shooter on 2009-07-03 01:31 EST "However, there are pleanty of american players on this site that I would put up against any (ronnan and blahblah) Brazilian player in the league."
by Eldariel on 2009-07-03 05:16 EST Warninero: Frankly speaking, you are wrong. Not playing Pridemage makes your chances of winning relevant match-ups worse, and is thus a mistake. by Almi on 2009-07-03 09:29 EST Pridemage sucks :/
by Eldariel on 2009-07-04 08:52 EST Almi: It loses to all countertop threshold builds. That's pretty big. by Almi on 2009-07-08 15:53 EST Which deck? Because if it's mine, i have to say i beated 2 baseruption in round 1 and round 2. |
