by HuDat on 2009-06-21 05:41 EDT

so.. 1st place deck just counters counters counters counters until he gets 4 mishra and a phyrexian? doesn't seem too effective

by Eldariel on 2009-06-21 06:17 EDT

HuDat: He plays Phyrexian Dreadnought and Stifles the CiPT. Dreadnought had its powerlevel errata removed so it works nowadays.

The deck is actually a hybrid; it can play Standstill-control and beat with Mishras while setting up Counterbalance+Sensei's Divining Top, it can play aggressive mana denial with Waste+Stifle hitting opponent's duals and fetches and sometimes it's right just to slam down a turn 2 Dreadnought and go to town.
