DragonKid on 2009-06-08 19:27 EST Ranger of eos only gets noble hierarch??
by Eldar on 2009-06-08 20:38 EST It seems kind of bad but ranger does get u blue for boarded bant charms by ZW on 2009-06-08 21:21 EST - Improve your language - CMA-Flippi by Preslo18 on 2009-06-08 21:33 EST NOMNOMNOM! by caesarthehun on 2009-06-08 21:40 EST if this can win trials, i am playing block from now on. this is stupidly ridiculous. It looks like a seven year old threw a bunch of crap in a deck.<----referring to GWagg by Preslo18 on 2009-06-08 21:42 EST That's why it looks so ridiculous, because you don't play block. 4 Thornling is questionably 1 or two too many, but other than that, it's a pretty good list. by P_P4E on 2009-06-08 23:36 EST i like the deck. I think some wild nactles could be used also, though.
by Ashmatan on 2009-06-08 23:45 EST celestial purge over path? really? by Christopholo on 2009-06-09 00:21 EST i think thats Saito's list from the PT. pretty sure. and he finished well with it by DOminarian on 2009-06-09 01:35 EST purge is more useful in matches against esper
by DOminarian on 2009-06-09 01:38 EST i could also try to change jund charm to naya charm... it has more verstility in block since u can get a cascade card back and tap those anoying wall of denials or kill the ehersworn canonist
by Lynolf on 2009-06-09 06:47 EST LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Its ridiculous how the only deck without Bloodbraid Elf managed to win this trial. That's what I call gg.
by RavensEffect on 2009-06-09 09:24 EST I guess you're saying it was the only deck without Elf...in the top 3? There were 3 decks in the top 8 that didn't run Bloodbraid Elf, and I'm sure probably alot more. Rhox Meditant is a very janky choice, especially when you could run a great creature like Dauntless Escort instead. And I agree that if you run Ranger of Eos you should probably run at least 2 one-drops. by Trotsky1 on 2009-06-09 10:03 EST I think its fair to say the GW aggro deck was a metagame deck made by the japanese, explaining the presence of cards like rhox mendiant as a response to bloodbraid elf. What they said was if people are playing 3 colour decks we want to be playing 2, 2 colour decks we want to be playing mono just for the number of extra game wins you get for having less mana problems. by Mind_Game on 2009-06-09 11:55 EST Well said Trotsky1, I remember when I experimented with Rhox Mediant, and other cards from Conflux when the stuff first came out. But, I never did think that the one card draw would matter that much in something like a Alara Block Trial. by rdeg87 on 2009-06-09 12:57 EST Saito said himself that he wanted a creature with 4 toughness to block Elf and Sprouting Thrinax, it helps that it draws a card and people are reluctant to waste removal on it.
by DOminarian on 2009-06-09 14:01 EST i must say that sunlight was something good to keep cascading into pulse in one game although the games i lost i lost them to broodmate dragon :D i was wishing to have one too... by Jacois on 2009-06-09 14:38 EST Maybe take out 2 Vithian Renegades for 2 Karthuus of Jund. That's 15pts for 7 mana, not bad. And if you're lucky it's another 15 next turn. :S by Shagrath on 2009-06-09 16:31 EST by DragonKid on 2009-06-09 00:27 GMT
by TugaChampion on 2009-06-09 16:45 EST again noobseffect and moron_game talking about a game they don't understand. go back to pokemon or yu-gi-oh you losers. by Preslo18 on 2009-06-09 19:09 EST Rhox Meditat is good. Just throwing it out there. You guys who argue against him, once again, must not play enough block. He blocks Nacatl, He blocks Thrinax, he blocks Bloodbraid, Dauntless Escort, Ranger of Eos, it makes them pump leech, giving you two life out of purge, and, maybe most importantly, it shuts down probears, because Goblin Outlander is the least played of them all. |
