I think the first place deck could be really good, but I'd just abandon the whole "Accel into threat" thing. Just play volume in this format. Turn 2 they have terminate and path just like everyone else, so accelerating into stuff is kind of a waste of space. You could then change your mana base around and make it better too. Also I'm not sure madrush cyclops is good enough to play, either. You need stuff that makes removal irrelevant in this format. He kind of does that as he turns himself into a burn spell, but if he dies to bimuinous blast then, well, whats the point? I'd cut those and hirarchs and add bituminous blast and resounding thunder.

This is what i hate about m-l sometimes... The #2 deck is a horrid literal copy from MODO season #2 champs..... The only reason the guy played 2 Spellbreaker was due to him being unsure about the potency of Grixis Control & 5cc w/ counters on MODO. Considering MODO is more diverse and M-L block seems to be tuned more towards Jund Aggro prior to this trial, the correct choice is -2 Spellbreaker and +2 Slave of Bolas for the maindeck, but alas m-l terds find it better to just spank an exact card-for-card list from the net without considering why each card choice was made. Also, little to nobody plays Wall of Denial here so the 2 sideboard slots to Fleshbag Marauder are a waste..........

Oh yeah it really is worth the 4th colour, you know sometimes it is fucked by magma spray/celestial purge but if not, people usually kills it so you just unearth next turn and make them discard. And if they don't kill it..well..it never happened but I swear it's a huge advantage.

Well speaking of hierarchs and cyclops..,the first helps you fixing the mana, accelerates (adds U for specter), deals some dmg sometimes and gives exalted to your guys it is not that bad imo ._. Cyclops..it's not a bad creature, haste to your guys is a good surprise factor, imagine broodmate dragon with haste :o

Magno, I didn't wake up in time. And I won over 12 events on modo with the deck, and 3-4 mini's on here... never once have I'd rather have seen spellbreaker over slave.

I played the same deck as the 2nd place here in real life today but -2 Spellbreaker Behemoth +2 Madrush Cyclops. The deck worked really good. I went 8 - 1 (games0 vs Fast Jund (more aggroish) and lost in the finals to Naya 2 - 1 after 2 mulligans in the 3rd game.

Great deck. Though .. in an aggro metagame I'll switch the Vengeful Rebirth to some more cheap removal (maybe Banquet?)

ok for all the small minded ppl out there hating on me all i did was quickly pick a deck on Deck check for somthing to play.. ive had no testing exp. and no block exp. basically i picked a deck and played it. so dont hate on me for how it was made it wasnt my choice on meta... i just wnted to play in the trial and had nothing built..
