All the control decks and no border post or trace to ramp seems odd

by FlyingFreak on 2009-05-24 14:26 EDT

3-0 drop ftw (I had to go somewhere)

by Klaunnd on 2009-05-24 14:30 EDT

Nice run |kaoz|, well done.

by Mad03 on 2009-05-24 16:53 EDT

once again my exact build wins it all ...

guess ill have to build something else now

by Ludz on 2009-05-24 19:13 EDT

SaTiVa: You probably want to hit good spells with the cascade cards, not mana ramp/fix.

by P_P4E on 2009-05-24 19:42 EDT

bloodbraid elf into Lavalanche.

Bloodbraid elf into magma spray, no targets. Tech.

This is an overrated ability in this format, methinks.

by ZW on 2009-05-24 19:47 EDT

No, cascade is amazing :S. There are times it will be bad, but usually it will turn out well. Besides, a 3/2 haste for 4 isn't terrible, neither is 5 mana 4 damage, and those are worst case scenarios.

by Zoom on 2009-05-24 23:18 EDT

Jund control is by far the best deck in the format. Cascade is insanely good. After testing, I feel anything less than 4xbituminous, or 4xbroodmate is a mistake. You always want these cards, and multiples are butter. Also, lavalanche is not so good. Cascading into it is no fun. I recommend jund charm or putrid leech in that slot.

by Verystrait42 on 2009-05-24 23:46 EDT

Sativa, Borderposts arent ramp. Look at the card >_<

by P_P4E on 2009-05-25 00:40 EDT

or bloodbraid into borderpost.

Borderposts ARE ramp. 3 mana comes into play tapped land...

by neosystems on 2009-05-25 01:31 EDT

Borderposts aren't ramp, they're fixing. Ramp gives you more mana. Fixing gives you different mana.

by P_P4E on 2009-05-25 03:35 EDT

lol. noob. Borderposts are similar to oblesks? You can cast them for 3 mana and they come into play tapped.

by DS_McWerp on 2009-05-25 04:13 EDT

borderposts are BOTH fixing AND ramp

by DragonKid on 2009-05-25 08:08 EDT

Posts are terrible ramp!!!!

Just use oblesks

by Tird_Ape on 2009-05-25 15:09 EDT

Obelisks are horrible posts are good

by metzel_usa on 2009-05-25 17:06 EDT

posts are horrible

by Verdana on 2009-05-25 22:04 EDT

both are horrible :\ just don't use any, if you want to "ramp", use armillaries.

by Mad03 on 2009-05-25 23:53 EDT

armilliary doesnt ramp ...

by The_grouch on 2009-05-26 03:40 EDT

lol

by Verdana on 2009-05-26 15:06 EDT

hence the "" :\.. I don't like any of the 3.

by KevinJonas on 2009-05-26 16:10 EDT

cascade's can be VERRY bad... for example, friend Steve plays enlisted wurm, cascades into phage, losing the game!!!!

by KevinJonas on 2009-05-26 16:11 EDT

double p0st LOL

by Trotsky1 on 2009-05-26 18:38 EDT

lol, god bless phage and the countless jokes he has made possible.

by dejan25 on 2009-05-27 06:18 EDT

isnt cascade "may" btw?
