Tremble mortals and despair! JANK CONTROL has come to this world.

by LordLink on 2009-05-18 20:28 EDT

Bah, woke up 15 minutes late for the trial.

It's always good to see Elfball win a trial, mono-green combo/aggro for the win.

Ability> nobility

by Morpheus2222 on 2009-05-18 22:09 EDT

well at least i lost to the winner 2nd round :)

by Spyx on 2009-05-18 23:03 EDT

why no one off FoD in the MWC? it seems better then a 4th eternal dragon.

by ZW on 2009-05-18 23:51 EDT

Why no engineered explosives?

by Eldar on 2009-05-19 01:19 EDT

Worst slide list ever.

by metzel_usa on 2009-05-19 01:25 EDT

why in the fuck isnt eternal witness in the maindeck of slide? it kinda makes the deck completely end the game...

by Eternal^ on 2009-05-19 02:46 EDT

Doesn't the MWC have trouble casting both Choke and Blood Moon ? I know very well that it is designed to play late game , but both cards are needed early on the table to make a difference and with just 1 mana source to cast Choke and two to cast Blood Moon , I don't see that happening pretty often.

by Dr_Moo on 2009-05-19 03:51 EDT

Eternal Dragon or twin Flagstones can find colored mana. That still seems pretty shaky, but it isn't as bad as you make it sound.

by TugaChampion on 2009-05-19 04:09 EDT

dead format ftw!

by Burton911 on 2009-05-19 13:24 EDT

why the 3ed deck is called MWC now?

"dead format ftw!"

fun ftw!

by Eldariel on 2009-05-19 14:43 EDT

Burton: Because I decree so. Basically, life is a combo-deck that strives to generate a combo that leads to infinite amount of life. That, on the other hand, is just a simple mono-white control that happens to use the Martyr-Proclamation engine to put many games away.

The Idiot Life-deck was pretty much built around the combo, while this is just a control-deck that just so happens to use the said combo.

by ZW on 2009-05-19 15:58 EDT

The MWC should play a few fetches and engineered explosives, like faeries.
