finally a jund aggro list that doesn't look like crap.

by TugaChampion on 2009-05-17 15:10 EDT

Yay for pablo_winner having the balls to still play faeries but fail for playing just 2 scions.

by Huskie on 2009-05-17 15:47 EDT

Too bad they didn't let me play in this trial

by Tird_Ape on 2009-05-17 16:02 EDT

Just 2 scion... He got them both when I didn't get fallout

by Huskie on 2009-05-17 16:52 EDT

3 Zealous Persecution, hmm interesting.

by asamodious on 2009-05-17 19:20 EDT

why is that interesting?

by floodstorm64 on 2009-05-17 19:29 EDT

Scion is less good because of persecution and fallout

by zabimaru on 2009-05-17 22:32 EDT

how did the jund aggro managed to beat the colossus of the ramp?

by gypsy on 2009-05-17 22:32 EDT

whats the point of playing 2 knight of meadowgrain, its a card you want early put you dont play 4 so i dont rly understand, its either 4 or 0 i think just doesnt make sense to me

by is_adonis_cl on 2009-05-17 23:01 EDT

pablo_looser rules XD, wena guataca esperaba que jugaras la mierda de hadas con rojo, pero no tuviste las hueas bien puestas :D

by totolcc on 2009-05-18 00:32 EDT

in the current meta, there's always some fun with sarkhan's threaten possibility... :P

by CalebD on 2009-05-18 01:52 EDT

@gypsy:

From a deckbuilding point of view, two Knights can make perfect sense. Instead of thinking it as a card that is good on turn two and never again, think about it this way:

It rounds out the two drops from 8 to ten.
It takes the deck from six lifegain effects to eight.
Unlike a removal spell, it works with other dorks and Windbrisk Heights, in case the opponent dealt with your tokens.
It can break a race during any stage of the game if you have pump effects in place.

Really, it's filling the role of Kitchen Finks, only it's spreading the lifegain critter slot over multiple spots on the curve, making the deck run smoother.

by marc_31 on 2009-05-18 06:52 EDT

zabimaru: i just drooped before the final.

by TugaChampion on 2009-05-18 07:26 EDT

knight of meadowgrain is crap is bw tokens and anything less than 4 kitchen finks in bw tokens is stupid.

by Durango on 2009-05-18 08:33 EDT

With all the finks running around I'd cut incinerate for magma spray.

by Chase_Quee on 2009-05-18 15:42 EDT

amendoly: Why do you not run Putrid Leech, seems do good in the 2 slot curve in your deck

by Gerr on 2009-05-18 18:09 EDT

I've originally played 4 Knights of Meadowgrain but cut some in favor of Murderous Redcap. As CalebD was saying, I left 2 in the deck to have more lifegain effects and thus gain a little advantage against blightning/red decks.

What bothers me is my poor, 0-2 performance against faeries with this deck during regionals last weekend - I thought Zealous Persecution would turn that match completely in my favor, but it did so in only one game. They are pretty fast too, Warping and countering.
And yes, TugaChampion, I took your advice and sided Meadowgrains out for this matchup;)

by GnikXela on 2009-05-19 11:59 EDT

I'm curious as to why, in the jund aggro deck, the anathemancers aren't maindeck.
