Ok, so the Trial hadn't been started 1.5 hours after the supposed time, forcing me to TC it with a minimal population.

Then for some reason maybe half of the last 8 matches were played; byes and no-shows were around a-plenty. So uhh, take everything with a grain of salt.

How good is Dauntless Escort, I guess imma just play with em n find out seems easy enough :-)

by EMA on 2009-05-09 07:19 EDT

Escort is pure nuts... It not only protects from wrath effects but u could also play wrath yourself, I have won so many games with martial coup/escort combo.

What I do not like is noble hierarch, if u want to accelerate i think steward of valeron belongs here, exalted will rarely be relevant, I like sigil blessing tech might give it a try. I'm also a fan of elvish visionary in the deck.
Anyway grats to top 4 nice lists

Só nabos tugas. Larguem o magic isso faz mal.

GFSS you know i love you.

by MistyFatDog on 2009-05-09 12:58 EDT

I lost to GFS in round three cause he dropped double martial coup each game... such luck

by ik on 2009-05-09 14:43 EDT

Ugh... Warhammer in Ramp is not needed... why are people still wasting 1-2 slots on it...

by onecleanceli on 2009-05-09 14:59 EDT

Yeh I agree with the warhammer in ramp comment, not needed

Dauntless Escort wins games, period... he has a big fat target on his head, and saves everybody from board wiping effects, and as stated, lets you play your own wrath/coup safely

by LordLink on 2009-05-09 20:21 EDT

MistyFatDog if your deck douldn't kill or take control by turn 7 for martial coup then its your own fault. GFSS's deck having the better late-game is hardly luck.

It's nice to see G/W Tokens becoming a part of the meta. It's a pretty cool deck.

That sucks, I mean really sucks...
