FYI I did not loose to burn.

Its Just not Possible to loose to burn with Beastcloud.deck

Also, Don't play my deck its really bad.

by Yatre on 2008-10-22 20:45 EST

and he is gay so he is telling the truth

by MitchMachine on 2008-10-22 20:50 EST

lol and thats because u play 4 ravenous baloths?

and like infinite dead or too slow cards?

a good burn player would crush u

by curly on 2008-10-22 20:57 EST

yahh uhh deathcloud dosent beat burn players... not when they only pack 4 baloth.... and your french...

by Spyx on 2008-10-22 20:59 EST

a bad one would too. vortex comes out before baloth. fetch and thoughtseize doesn't help too much either.
racing with a t3 colussus is not gonna win it for you either because he can chump with stuff like fanatic and marauders.
adding to that you have a whopping zero sb cards against burn.

nice to see elfball still doing well :)

by _S3BaS_ on 2008-10-22 21:41 EST

loool

by PV on 2008-10-22 21:56 EST

I'm puzzled by the statement "a good burn player"

What does a bad burn player do? shrapnel blast himself?

by GilardiNo on 2008-10-22 22:05 EST

Plays 1st turn Mana Clash

by I_Threaten_U on 2008-10-22 22:08 EST

LOL @ PV's Comment.

btw, Solifuge race's Burn Quite well when they Drop that vortex. U don't try and Gain life in that match up u make them the Control deck.

El Yatre, Mexicali Rosa, Rico Suave, Taco Eater ext. You love its when I win with bad decks dont you ?

Truthfully I just wanted to test the interactions of adding red in Deathcloud. I learned that firespout is just ridiculous, and if I would have played damnation over it I would have lost R3 to Goblin storm. He had a Blood moon in play and I still got his team in time.

PS. I'm not French but I'm not ignorant either.

by el_cuervito on 2008-10-22 22:12 EST

why u play bridge? is bad card
omg
mono red is for n00bs
looooooool
jhajajajajja
GOGO ZEROS!:)

by aldaryn on 2008-10-22 23:27 EST

Forget cloud, how does a deck with 4 hierarchs AND 4 finks post-sb lose to burn? And Jitte!

Also I have to suggest Finks in Cloud, because it persists when you Cloud everything away

by I_Threaten_U on 2008-10-22 23:34 EST

I played it in my Original build But a I said I wanted to try something new.

by Kh on 2008-10-23 00:58 EST

so many burn... how come no1 ever use cop:red at sb?

cop:red>>burn

by stone_d on 2008-10-23 01:39 EST

Why only 2 blinkmoth nexus and 4 darksteel citadel?
I'dd think that 1/1 flyers are better then a small chance that ur shrapnels blast costs 1 more.

I'm wrong?

by Azazel81A on 2008-10-23 02:38 EST

Personally I don't like this version of Death Cloud, yet it remains my fav deck, and I'm glad to see it in top4! keep it up guys. ;-)

PS: I'm sick of seeing tarmofolk in top4 instead, please someone bring it down forever.

by perokeay on 2008-10-23 03:02 EST

"Solifuge race's Burn Quite well when they Drop that vortex"

hahahahahahahahahaha

excuse me...

hahahahahahahahahaha

Please, look for a better plan vs burn!!!

Zeros, why do you play demonfires?

by Rabrab on 2008-10-23 05:29 EST

Forget cloud, how does a deck with 4 hierarchs AND 4 finks post-sb lose to burn? And Jitte! ...

In G2 and G3 i drew only 1 hierarch and he had flames of the blood hand in his hand. :'(
So i was 1 turn to slow.

by Eldariel on 2008-10-23 05:47 EST

People seem to forget that the burn-list plays 7 anti-lifegain cards. You can't expect to just play few token lifegain dudes and win.

by TugaChampion on 2008-10-23 06:59 EST

To those who think Deathcloud has a bye vs burn: LOL.

I played Deathcloud last season and it was very even. Now you have more lifegain options but still now you don't have sensei to find them faster.

If you get Baloth+Garruk you probably win unless they can burn Garruk right away (still they gain 8 life this way) but sometimes just a baloth or 2 aren't enough. And Vortex hurts.

by Tink903 on 2008-10-23 07:21 EST

when did they change doran to being called tarmofolk?

by Joker619 on 2008-10-23 08:20 EST

i play CoP red SB and i palyed elfball rd1

by Shooter on 2008-10-23 10:02 EST

Last season cloud completely crushed burn, since u had more discards, top to find key cards AND they didn't pack vortex md. NOW I think it's even, or even favoured to burn.

Why wellwisher?

by DarkGoblin on 2008-10-23 10:25 EST

may be primal command to side vs burn?
i ask :)

by Kev on 2008-10-23 11:18 EST

I actually played Cloud last season, The matchup vs burn is hard, but you can board pretty well.
I won becasue of 3 primal command, 4 baloth, and 2 eternal witness

Cloud can beat burn, but not game 1

by Lynolf on 2008-10-23 13:46 EST

I just don't get it: Without Liliana Vess and Divining Top, what good does Death Cloud do in a Death Cloud deck, since you can only win if you have a Garruk in play? Why not just take it out and make a BG Rock deck? :/

by Spyx on 2008-10-23 13:55 EST

you can also win by being left with 1 rot farm, allowing you to play big goyfs

by mtgsoldier on 2008-10-23 14:05 EST

One more time , people call burn a noob deck and then they are owned by it.

Sigh.. some people never change

by Pretoriano on 2008-10-23 14:58 EST

Linessa? it would be fun to see a DeathCloud packing this http://www.blackborder.com/cgi-bin/prices/ex_prodshow.cgi?prodid=24949&sid=cECwjVdlu5
its like calling ur date by the wrong name, lol.

a burn deck dont need a good pilot, thats why people call it a noob deck, but it still does what it was made to do, burn.

by Zeros on 2008-10-23 15:37 EST

Please let us not be naive. Burn needs a good player.

I have seen many people play with Burns playing badly. This looks like a deck of playing easy, is another thing that is easy to do good game to burn.

by Delicious on 2008-10-23 15:39 EST

what i don't understand is, if a player plays..imperial mask lets say..how does this burn deck get around it?

by Zeros on 2008-10-23 15:46 EST

MMM, this card isn't play...but is a good question.

by Eldariel on 2008-10-23 17:45 EST

Sulfuric, Spark, Keldon, Fanatic, Blinkmoth and outracing, probably.

by ut_neon on 2008-10-23 21:58 EST

by PV on 2008-10-23 02:56 GMT

I'm puzzled by the statement "a good burn player"

PV, actually i've seen many players with burning making so many mistakes. magic is not that simple, i guess you know that better than anyone, so don't say things like that=P there are always some options bad players can't even think of.

by ut_neon on 2008-10-23 22:03 EST

Lynolf

because that deck already exists... it's called doran you know.. lOLol
