Finally kithkins are back. They are the only deck that can really compete with faeries, and if the kithkin player is good and draws his oblivion rings, it is a good matchup for kithkins. Also, merfolk folds to kithkins all day. I have to say, I'm not sure about forge-tenders side, but I guess there was enough faeries and not enough firespouts for it to be effective.

Faeries is favored vs kithkin. They are a sligth dog g1 and are pretty good favorites g2 and g3.

If kithkin gets a fast start on the play, it is very hard for the faerie player to win, and almost impossible if the kithkin player has ring for a sower or weave for a clique.

At least this goes to show, Faeries only does well in the hands of a good player - 70% lost their first game. Unfortunately, Ehri is one such (at least comparatively).

My guess is for mirror or vs creature heavy/swarming decks? I don't really know, I don't play kithkin, but that seems to make sense.
