why is an assassin deck? theres more elementals than assassins so it should be called gbu elementals with elves servants :P

The name of the deck indicates to what the deck is built around. Not what the most common creature type is.
(Reveillark isn't called elementals. And RG ramp isn't called plant_wall.dec)


Either way the TC decided to name the deck elves :p

Yes, it's a wizard deck, not a merfolk deck people. Reejerey is in there cuz most of the deck happens to be of merfolk race.

doesn't matter. the only real difference is this list has oona. makes it slightly better, i'm sure, but really, just play a better deck.

the people who win with merfolk a) get lucky, and b) tend to be much better players than the people they play against.
it definltey gets some great hands sometimes, but a lot of the time it looks a lot like 2 1/1s and a couple counterspells, which shouldn't be enough to win really.

i'm just not impressed
