I would give him gameloss because he would get one irl. I mean trials in minis you can argue rules enforcement isn't strong enough for this. But in a trial it should have been a gameloss.

for what reason? he has no advantage of it even in irl it would not always be a gameloss, of course the penelety for illegal deck list ist gameloss but every judge with a little common sense would downgrade it to warning.

I remember reading something in Wizards.com over sometime ago (probably more than one year) telling a story about someone who got gameloss for having 1 snow covered land in his deck in a format it wasn't legal. He got gameloss and the guy writing the article said a judge would have no choice but to give him gameloss.

The point is: don't play illegal cards. It's the rules. And people are so used to put snow lands in everydeck that they forget they can't use them in block. Irl they probably don't do it as they don't have snow lands.

For the person who did not understand 2/3, those 2 dropped prior to the last round and were undefeated at 5-0, with navajita being the only one not to drop (and getting paired against the Bye to go 6-0 and win). So pretty much, all 3 are undefeated lists.
