Hehe always dropping to NOT steal the byes.
Gj sandoiche for losing in the finals :\
Damn would have been two easy matchups.

by Kaos on 2008-06-30 18:45 MDT

OMFG, you don't play that 4/4 that can't block!

WTF

by Ashmatan on 2008-06-30 18:49 MDT

I aggree (get it?) it's definitely a tempo-setter. If they can't beat him fast enough, you win!

pointing out your puns is the most pretentious, condescending thing on the planet. I would explain why, but Maddox already does such a great job here: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=puns

Not that anyone needs approval for their deck lists, especially mine, but I gotta say that I like that black and red deck. It look like it curves out pretty consistently and is something new. I hope it shows up in more top threes. Diverse standard formats make me stay interested in the game.

I think the haste guy is a better choice, considering he has a semi-direct damage effect and impacts the board more permanently in a way. By the fourth turn he lets you swing for six more damage. By the old burn rule; he does two damage for each one that you spent on him most of the time, which I think is a better deal than four damage after your opponent has been given the chance to kill it or prepare for it.

Maybe if you tuned the deck to be more sligh style than machine-headish, you'd want that 4/4 that can't block. Ram is a more flexible card for that particular deck.

RB deck gets a thumbs up for me too...Not the kind of deck I'd like to play, but a fresh option and that's when you know a format is doing well.

by TheInferno on 2008-06-30 23:41 MDT

No negativity here... Merfolk is house against faeries. The RB thing probably has quite a few good match ups. Nice work.

by gypsy on 2008-06-30 23:53 MDT

this is beules 3rd top 3 finish in 4 t2 trials clearly he is either rly good or the deck is very powerful, or both

by CMA-Flippi on 2008-07-01 05:08 MDT

he had like 3 9th places at regionals :D

by ChristPunchr on 2008-07-01 10:11 MDT

I really like how almost every single card in the deck has a specific purpose. It isn't like some decks that just have broad-spectrum cards in it. Whether Beule was going for it or not, when you got up and down the list almost every card targets a heavily played deck.

by TugaChampion on 2008-07-01 17:45 MDT

I'll have to agree with forzaazzurri this time.
