funny thing about that title is I was acutally thinking of taking doran out

by gypsy on 2008-06-25 23:28 MDT

i dont see how sower is good in elementals, it just dies to everybody elses cloudthreshers and your own

by Ganja on 2008-06-26 00:09 MDT

i got jypped from winning i accidently mulligan when i went to hit enter i hit m -.-

by Circa on 2008-06-26 01:10 MDT

Gandi, how does that mean you got jipped from a win? You can honestly say that you would have won with that one extra card?

You know exactly how the game would have pulled out with that first hand?

by Eldariel on 2008-06-26 04:40 MDT

Kithkin ain't playing enough Oblivion Rings, it seems.

by TugaChampion on 2008-06-26 06:03 MDT

Ok this trial was ridiculous. It started 1 hour later and worse I lost to a noob playing Leech Bonder...
I guess when you draw multiples cryptic commands even exiled boggart is good.

by Batutinha on 2008-06-26 10:31 MDT

MageMasher he is a great player, but i won g1 and g2 e g3 i no good draw, none draw bitterblossom. He played correct and draw good cards. = gg =/

by MageMasher on 2008-06-26 10:50 MDT

Thank you :)

"In the Top 8 I beat a Faeries Mirror (he had Ponder), Merfolk (he played turn-two Sygg on me all three games... I played turn-two Bitterblossom all three), and White Weenie. The Merfolk guy had Leech Bonder out of the board, and destroyed me with turn-three and -four Leech Bonders Game 2."
- From Mike Flores' article today on recent tournies.

No matter how many times I tell you Tuga that leech bonder is tech against fae and kihkin, you're still gonna whine and complain because you're a terrible player. I even challenged you to a game on Modo to clear things up and you pussied out. Didn't tell everyone that part did you?

by Jacois on 2008-06-26 12:58 MDT

LOL, I just read that in Flores column today and thought of Tuga right away. I laughed my ass off. Tuga's such a tool. The guy whined for half an hour yesterday after losing to you. Man, he just kept calling you a noob cause of Leech Bonder.

Hilarious.

by coolcreep on 2008-06-26 13:21 MDT

I am assuming that leech bonder sided in against fae and kith is Jacois's tech, after all he is the best deckbuilder on magic-league.

by aldaryn on 2008-06-26 14:02 MDT

To the winner, how was Eyes of the Wisent? Harbinging for it seems good...I was thinking about Vexing Shusher in the sideboard for Faeries and QnT, but Eyes might be better (since it requires no extra mana investment, is an elemental, and helps when they cast non-countering cryptics)...were you happy with it, and the number?

Also, to the guy talking about Sower in Elementals, you board it in when you board out Threshers, against decks that don't have Threshers or side them out (Kithkin, GW aggro, Doran/Colossus) decks.

There's a chance they leave Thresher in, but I can't imagine that's a smart choice for them, since it only kills Mulldrifters (unless they are seriously anticipating Sower)

by gypsy on 2008-06-26 14:45 MDT

ya but sower isnt that good vs those decks i rather have a redcap most of the time so i can keep in my threshers

by TugaChampion on 2008-06-26 15:04 MDT

First he was playing it maindeck. Second he made a lot of mistakes. It wasn't just leech bonder. Leech Bonder didn't do much. The problem was him always getting sower and several cryptic and playing like crap and crap cards.

And btw: leech bonder is like fledging mawcor that can only ping twice and only to creatures. It also doesn't fly. That's a bad mawcor which was only decent when no one knew about it.

Jacois: this has nothing to do with you so stfu. And if you think kithkins are bad go play your brass gnat deck. I must be really important if you thought of me right away.
