bfdeck on 2008-06-16 21:31 MDT LOL!!! Miser's thoughtweft trio was misclick as it was the 61 card, but it won me game 1 of the finals, and I lost game 2. by SpectreBlack on 2008-06-16 21:34 MDT Congrats to the top 3 but seriously...is there no way to beat Fairies or Kithkin without playing one of those decks? Granted, they are amazing decks and are solid, but it feels like Kithkin is so resilient compared to WW decks of old.
by aldaryn on 2008-06-16 21:34 MDT Trio actually sounds really good for the mirror match. Like, really good.
by Ggerg on 2008-06-16 22:05 MDT hmm...5th deck eh? how about worldpurge? by center425 on 2008-06-16 22:09 MDT kithkin is much more an aggro combo deck than a ww deck. by magicbmx on 2008-06-16 22:42 MDT well if i didnt keep a bad hand game two against ventura i may of forced a game 3 but rouges have a hard hard time against faeries. well maybe tomorrow if i play i will tech the deck out by Kurse on 2008-06-16 22:44 MDT Word has it that a GBu Assassin deck won a PTQ last weekend... no decklist that I know of, yet. by cheesypirate on 2008-06-16 23:26 MDT ventura, do you mind explaining some of your SB with us? oona is interesting and so is faerie trickery. any specific reasons why those cards are better in the SB than the usual 15? also, is thoughtseize better in the MB than ponder? ponder just seems better than thoughtseize MB because it can set up the turn 2 bitterblossom easier.
by Diveader on 2008-06-17 04:15 MDT grats snoopster :) by Chico_Ze on 2008-06-17 04:17 MDT Elementals > Top 3 by Eldariel on 2008-06-17 05:07 MDT Chico_Ze: Not by sufficient margin to have won if they played against all three though. by IgnisFatuus on 2008-06-17 05:20 MDT I used to think that I liked this format, but now it just makes me kind of sad. Kithkin is to Block as Faeries is to Standard. The control decks in this format seemed really good, but now they just aren't. None of them seem to be able to consistently beat Kithkin AND Faeries. Sigh.... I hate playing aggro. by RiQuS|P on 2008-06-17 05:24 MDT well, the format is gay.
by IgnisFatuus on 2008-06-17 05:42 MDT I bet Kithkin won... by aldaryn on 2008-06-17 07:55 MDT But at least Elementals is fun! by dv8r on 2008-06-17 10:39 MDT I guess its time for me to write a block article :) by Eldariel on 2008-06-17 11:57 MDT Kithkin are fun too! That's the great thing about the format; all the decks are interesting enough to play! by Chico_Ze on 2008-06-17 13:34 MDT Eldariel i just played the 1st round and won vs kithkaines xD, but yeah they are the best deck in the format, for now. by Ironicus on 2008-06-17 13:35 MDT Kithkin is good, but beatable. It's just overplayed. When 60% of the metagame is kithkin, chance are good to see kithkin in top4...
