Black ftw! ^^

An Assasin's deck standing 2º in a trial? Wow, just when I thought I've seen all the tribes from Lorwyn... How did your deck perform Kaesh?

by ZW on 2008-06-14 13:59 MDT

Kaesh! GO GO GO POLAND!

by Carados on 2008-06-14 13:59 MDT

I got my MBA at Harvard.

Wait.

by Bebo on 2008-06-14 14:30 MDT

Lol assasins :O

by Mirage on 2008-06-14 14:59 MDT

Magic-League needs a function where you can digitally pat rogue deck players on the back and say, "Hey champ, great job"

mirage, its not a rogue deck. Rogues won last trial!

by Buffalo_Wing on 2008-06-14 18:46 MDT

Demigod of Revenge? I think my ex-girlfriend answers to that one!

by cheesypirate on 2008-06-14 19:15 MDT

i haven't seen tarmogoyf in a while...

by Ashmatan on 2008-06-14 19:43 MDT

One word would sum this trial up. I'll quote Cartman--"Lame". GJ everyone in top 3, but it's still lame.

by JA0 on 2008-06-14 20:04 MDT

wow, i been just toying with a assassin's deck for fun, didnt ever plan to see someone top a tourny with one, great job!

Kaesh is one of the few players in magic-league good enough to win with crap, the list is like 4 guys. I finished 4th with UW merfolk and would've gotten killed by assassins if I didnt lose by life to the Quick n toast deck, damn Kitchen finks.

replace ironfoot for icy manipulator to deal with colossus and Voi-La

by gypsy on 2008-06-15 00:17 MDT

trip noose is slightly better than icy

by ZW on 2008-06-15 00:51 MDT

I don't think you could say one is better than the other. While one comes out earlier, it requires more mana each turn, and the other can untap as well.

Ronnan, PV, Kaesh and who's the 4th?

by ZW on 2008-06-15 01:25 MDT

by isperia on 2008-06-15 02:57 MDT

and they say Swath storm is strange to play...

by Chico_Ze on 2008-06-15 04:45 MDT

Lunarvoltage...problably shooter.

by Ronnan on 2008-06-15 05:04 MDT

hmm
fulminator aint assasin
id play royal assasin instead and cut toughtseize for something that can win
mb demigod

and ofc grats;)

by Quantumdemon on 2008-06-15 05:11 MDT

by Lunarvoltage on 2008-06-15 00:08 PDT

Ronnan, PV, Kaesh and who's the 4th?

--

Shyft-, we have trouble knowing if his decks are really good or not because he always beats everything in playtesting. Kaesh and Ronnan always win or top 8 every trial they play with random decks. Obv PV is one of the best players in the world so he could win with 59 island.dec

by Deuce on 2008-06-15 05:21 MDT

I think the Assasin deck needs 1-2 urborg if runnin 4 Vaults and Tendrils of Corruptions added in to compensate Blossom and Seizes. Imo at least. :)

by BusDriver on 2008-06-15 05:38 MDT

Thoughtseize really helps vs cham col tho

by Kaesh on 2008-06-15 06:22 MDT

fulminator ain't an assassin, but he is a 2 for 1, so an assassin in spirit :P

by Jacois on 2008-06-15 06:34 MDT

Absolutely hilarious. Kaesh, you are the champion. How many people were in this trial anyways? 5?

by Vedrfolner on 2008-06-15 06:52 MDT

Korlash + tutored Warhammer ftw.

It's TugaChampion obv!!

by BoneMonkey on 2008-06-15 19:00 MDT

why the Phyrexian Ironfoot in the assassians sideboard ?

by Quantumdemon on 2008-06-15 20:49 MDT

Tugachampion is a good player but doesn't play random decks and win with them.

by RiQuS|P on 2008-06-16 04:54 MDT

Kaesh is a fatso :[

by beule on 2008-06-16 15:19 MDT

Hehe Kaesh asked me which assasins he should play.
Nekratal is obv the right choice..
Gogo polish bastard :)

by Finntroll on 2008-06-17 02:08 MDT

so like...what does Assassins.dec do against the colossus of chameleon?

by SaCu on 2008-06-17 22:27 MDT

Seize's it or chump blocks with BB ??

SaCu

by Lambda on 2008-06-18 03:09 MDT

I hope my opponent only leaves BB tokens open against Collosus in the regionals too.

by Scuta04 on 2008-06-22 15:46 MDT

ya sorry pard if its got pro black there is no chumping with BB tokens...

by cymagic on 2008-06-29 01:44 MDT

agree w scuta.. how on earth do u chump a CC with any number of BB fliers lol?

and the finals must have been... STUPID. All removal and nothing to remove. Damnation for a scarblade elite. nekrataal for fun. =))
