Wops, I missed the MYOS Trial. Ouch :/ Seems like a good field for Dragon Stompy too. Blood Moon would've really destroyed all those nonsense multicolour piles. 'Geddon WW seems like it would've done fine too, as well as MUC. God I hate forgetting cool Trials.

kird ape was a better pick than mogg fanatic and trettop village slowed the deck down a turn. volcanic hammer did exactly the same thing as incinerate and therefore made it an even pick for 9th over 10th

well i dont know about how bad it is but the only thing ive ever lost to is the mirror. until i lose a match in something other then the mirror i will believe it is the best deck.

GJ to all/espacally Noname1. I think i underestimated this format a lot, i also played a dredge deck, and i did sloopy sideboarding, so i lost to noname1 in round 1. I also like the format. Keep it going.

The problem with Painter's Grind is how just about all hate hits it. Creature hate? Check. Artifact hate? Check. Gaea's Blessing? Check. Pithing Needle? Check.

It has surprise value and Duress/Thoughtseize-package, but now that people know of the deck, I feel it'll do far less well.

I played Painters grind (3-1) and it worked very well. I never thought that there would be others who play the combo until i won the mirror in round 3. I lost vs the winner, cause he has about 5000000000000 removal and discard spells, its just too much to handle for my 8 duress. the kombo was good and funny to play, but i just won the matches cause of the surprise effect, there are too much good hate spells against the combo.

WHy are shadowmoor cards counted as Lorwyn block? I thought they where different blocks. But just are together for block constructed?

They're separate miniblocks, but part of the same block as far as all formats are concerned. Also, they're over the same story and world so it makes sense.

Ugh, i lost to the third place deck in the fourth round because my internet died on me game 1 after i had almost complete control of the game. I was playing tog with a bunch of mana, cards in hand and life and my internet dies out on me. I win g2 and then lose in g3 to the demonfire (only a 2 of, wow) because i had to use a big scrying to dig for the tog + upheaval to try and finish the round in time.

Edit: Wow i beat the illegal d-storm deck w/o even noticing it was illegal.
