sandoiche on 2008-04-22 17:28 MDT i really liked 3rd place deck...
by SteveMan on 2008-04-22 17:30 MDT Bitter Blossom + Jitte scares me. by CalebD on 2008-04-22 17:46 MDT bitter+contamination makes me laugh. Kudos KeySam. by Stucco on 2008-04-22 17:50 MDT Clever deck Keysam, I like! by KeySam on 2008-04-22 17:51 MDT Thanks guys, after i fought my way through a bunch of burns decks(got quite lucky some times), i lose to dreadnough, maybe i should realy put some smothers in sideboard, but overall i like the deck.
by militari on 2008-04-22 18:01 MDT yeah lol in round 4 me and you have a good game keysam 2 time you had 2 life
by KeySam on 2008-04-22 18:05 MDT Not like you didnt got lucky, i just had the luck you didnt found the last burnspell to win ;) , but i still think some other lifegain wouldnt hurt, the games wouldnt be close at all with some more lifegain ;)
by militari on 2008-04-22 18:11 MDT i agreed whyt you
by aldaryn on 2008-04-22 18:16 MDT i really like angel stax, but most lists i've seen have ghostly prison over wrath, and armageddon main, and no o. rings...were you happy with your main? by android on 2008-04-22 18:42 MDT murderous redcap.... just why? by natethetank on 2008-04-22 18:48 MDT im suprised so few people tried the swan chain combo. im going to keep on working on my list to make a better thresh matchup
by KeySam on 2008-04-22 18:57 MDT I think i would try Swans combo in extended, in legacy it seems not good enough, there are better 2 card combos available and those dont see a ton of play. by natethetank on 2008-04-22 19:10 MDT the diffrence is that chain of plasma and swan are useful outside of the combo and are better for a deck that doesnt need to combo to win. by center425 on 2008-04-22 19:18 MDT KeySam, always rocking a Black aggro deck. Too good. by KrovikanMist on 2008-04-22 19:32 MDT go Shadowmoor!
by Spyx on 2008-04-22 20:05 MDT keysam hymn to tourach really helps against burndecks.
by SteveMan on 2008-04-22 20:23 MDT To Aldaryn: Yes, I do like my main. I've been playing it for months now and it has been winning consistently. by roodabagel on 2008-04-22 20:24 MDT GOOOO Dreadstill!!!! by neckfire on 2008-04-22 20:33 MDT *ahem* to all the non believers of dreadstill now are you happy.go team go rood and good job to steveman i hate to see my team mate lose but when you win it we know it was not some noob way to go both of you. by KeySam on 2008-04-22 20:46 MDT @Spyx the deck is little tested, so i cant say it for sure, but i didnt wanted to have more 2 drops. As for shriekmaw he awlas was very good, it gives your rituals also something to do later.
by ChristPunchr on 2008-04-22 23:01 MDT Seems like negator is still the shit compared to the new hybrid mana cost guy...that way you can get away with city of traitors or whatever...Negator also tramples. I guess negator is rough when against burn though. by cm_ on 2008-04-23 00:11 MDT GOGOGO STEVEMAN. Although I still hate your maindeck Wraths and Moats. Stax ftw.
by SteveMan on 2008-04-23 00:20 MDT Finally, now that I won a trial with Stax, I can play Reaper King Welder Survival knowing that people will start playing Stax, which is a good matchup for RKWS. by KeySam on 2008-04-23 00:47 MDT Negator isnt good in a meta where almost every second deck plays lightning bolts and you almost never face combo. Although if your in a combo meta its worth to think about, but i dont think that negator is better, because it also basicly cant block and it also cant realy attack into creatures(although it has trample). The only thing is that negator is theoratically 1 turn faster under ideall circumstances, but you almost never find those.
by bozidar on 2008-04-23 02:28 MDT very intresting deck keysam liked it was there any diff u will do to the sb i see its very basic by KeySam on 2008-04-23 05:02 MDT I would defenatly kick Swords of Fire and ice and maybe 1-2 duress to get lifegain. Not sure if i wanted to put a dreadnought answer in the side, would need to test that mu to know how it actually works out. by Vulpi on 2008-04-23 06:51 MDT good job steveman. Only 1 question if iu side in and play humilty and moat, how do iu win ? by Morkaure on 2008-04-23 07:18 MDT Greetings for the Mono Black list KeySam.
by SteveMan on 2008-04-23 08:12 MDT When you have Moat + Humility in play, you either Smokestack your opponent out of the game then sacrifice one of the two so you can attack. The other two options is you wait for them to deck themselves, but most of the time they'll just concede. by Balthazar88 on 2008-04-23 11:41 MDT Hey KeySam, how did the Dusk Urchins work out for you? In theory they don't seems so good if expect to face burn all day... by KeySam on 2008-04-23 12:19 MDT Well i said before, i am not completly sold on Dusk Urchins, althought they help to run the deck smoother. But it could very well be shade also. Although Urchin has some synergy with contamination. by militari on 2008-04-23 14:14 MDT yeah only 12 burn spell plus recap and i play 3 magma jet cycling card so i see 14 card no burn spell ..... by Daveslusher- on 2008-04-23 20:48 MDT by KeySam on 2008-04-23 07:02 EDT
