OMG I can't believe this:

Its the 1º tourney JBird goes, and owns everyone with a crappy Elemental deck. WHATTA FUCK???

/quit Magic O_O

by sh0rty on 2008-04-13 12:25 MDT

what a pile

by gypsy on 2008-04-13 12:31 MDT

it doesnt matter how bad a deck looks, its efficient at putting pressure on your opponents and making them answer your threats, if they dont do that they will lose.

by Jaum on 2008-04-13 12:50 MDT

nice deck ronnan only Nice creatures

by rdeg87 on 2008-04-13 12:52 MDT

Brion seems really out of place in the Shaman deck

by Holzi on 2008-04-13 12:56 MDT

yay my faerie list on 2nd place!

by Lynolf on 2008-04-13 12:58 MDT

rdeg87 actually not. Combine it with Changelings and a Wort and the game is yours :)

by therooster on 2008-04-13 13:21 MDT

Im happy to see decks that aren't just the standard faeries, elves etc make the top 4 :)

by Ronnan on 2008-04-13 13:31 MDT

brion is indeed not synergetic
but its just strong, especially with wolfskull or colossus

by mrwegle on 2008-04-13 14:10 MDT

Ronan, as always is very original :)
Ronan u played against Mono b rogues?

GJ ALL

by Ronnan on 2008-04-13 14:14 MDT

yes, hurly burly did a good job there

by Hank333 on 2008-04-13 14:14 MDT

Why not 4 Flamekin BLadewhirls? They are almost the best card in the deck. Heat Shimmer? why? It seems like Ashling the pilgrim is pretty good... would you consider more of them main deck?

by Shagrath on 2008-04-13 14:28 MDT

if its to put pressure, bladewhirls should be 4 on that deck.

by Lantero on 2008-04-13 16:11 MDT

What about Doran + Harbinger pack in BGwr shaman's list?. Also, i only see the red splash good because u can play 4 hurly-burly sb.

by JBird on 2008-04-13 17:44 MDT

hey, i hadnt really played the deck before, and i just threw it together before the tournament. but from playing it a few things were clear: i would definitely take out ashling pilgrim and heatshimmer. pilgrim is too mana intensive and if you have that much mana you have probably already lost.

i would prolly add more bladewhirls, but the problem is they are not shaman, and the deck is all about rage forger. tauren mauler is also really strong.

by nasa on 2008-04-13 18:33 MDT

can we please call the 4th place deck 'cream of shaman'

by DylanMacD on 2008-04-13 19:40 MDT

Hmmmm its a new surprise to see these types of deck's the Cream is maybe my fav :)

by kfcman on 2008-04-13 19:45 MDT

wow Jbird. just wow.

by ChuckNorris on 2008-04-13 21:55 MDT

Definitely enjoy the creamy deck.

by KeySam on 2008-04-14 04:55 MDT

GJ to all and mtg.de ft almost w again ;) and the rdw deck doesnt look half as bad as you want to make it.

by Eldariel on 2008-04-14 05:37 MDT

WTF, Ronnan lost a game!? My world just crumbled.

by Shatta on 2008-04-14 07:26 MDT

Seriously? A pile won the trial? Where were all the Doran players who just say:

T1: Harbinger getting Doran or Bosk If land is required.
T2: Bosk Banneret.
T3: Doran, Swing for 6.
T4: Colossus, swing for 11.
T5: Final Revels

And I'm sure someone is playing Festercreep.

by Ronnan on 2008-04-14 09:31 MDT

@ LaNTeRo
read wort ;)

by Lantero on 2008-04-14 09:50 MDT

Yes i was testing my old version splashing wort and hurly burly SB (forgot the Wort in last post obv); but don't like things like taurean or brion. Harbinger + doran pack is more solid than Cream of the crop pack to take advantage from Wolf-skull and Leaf-Crown i think.

Maybe we want to make it horrible while it's only really bad.

by Chico_Ze on 2008-04-14 11:27 MDT

I aggre with TugayChampion.

Btw is JBird portuguese?

by TugaChampion on 2008-04-14 13:05 MDT

O Chico_Ze engole.

by PolarBearGod on 2008-04-14 13:13 MDT

Why are people debating card choices for a format that has a few days validity in it at most?

by TugaChampion on 2008-04-14 13:35 MDT

Because there will be GPTs using this format.

by aldaryn on 2008-04-14 14:31 MDT

Plus, I imagine the testing for real LBC will start as natural evolutions of these tribal decks

by Murky on 2008-04-14 18:30 MDT

What's the purpose of Heat Shimmer?
Why not the other 2 Flamekin Bladewhirls instead?

by xsv1nrg2 on 2008-04-27 21:05 MDT

BAD DECK,Its Changeling zoo that iI already mad right when morningtide came out.Its not good.By the way,THERE IS NO THREATS IN THAT DECK,Revelark just Combos out and wins.

ANYWAYS MY X DECK IS GOING TO BREAK BLOCK.XFACTOR

by willyb_11 on 2008-05-21 18:37 MDT
