by gypsy on 2008-03-25 12:08 EST

im not surprised by anything in ext its so diverse that if u just play well and face good matchups u can win

by Chico_Ze on 2008-03-25 12:22 EST

Go Holzi

by MistyFatDog on 2008-03-25 12:32 EST

wow and i beat down sandoiche as he was waiting for the finals to start

by Mirror_Image on 2008-03-25 12:41 EST

Gratz sanduba... but MonoR is totally CRAP !

by thedarkness on 2008-03-25 12:46 EST

Mirror_Image, you're retarded. :\

Mono red burn is at least tier 1.5 (or tier 2, depending on how you order them..) right now. It's really not that bad. :\ I hate it, but I can't deny it doesn't suck.

Grats to the top3.

by Eldar on 2008-03-25 12:54 EST

Elf Replica is the tech.

by diablo2666 on 2008-03-25 13:36 EST

ruins + replica = gg against ideal :)

by gypsy on 2008-03-25 13:46 EST

thanks for pointing out the obvious

by NonEsDignus on 2008-03-25 17:20 EST

lol I like how we were just talking about how 'terrible' this faeries deck is yesterday...

by sandoiche on 2008-03-25 17:45 EST

no thedarkness, burn deck is total crap.

it has good matchups, obv, but there r soooo many good matchups, the deck is kinda inconsistent (mana base is total shit, u cant not play artifact lands, but if u play them u get easily disrupted and dont draw enough red sources).

also, vortex MD is shit. I lost in finals because i had to take out vortex, but also had nothing in the SB for the aggro MU. and threaten is also terrible

so, DONT play burn.

by Holzi on 2008-03-25 17:47 EST

tron is so fucking funny to play...

i mean, HUGE MANA amounts and big spells!

i feel like a kiddy with only 7/7s and 8/8s in my deck ;-)

by standarizeMA on 2008-03-25 18:10 EST

that tron build is prime =]

by standarizeMA on 2008-03-25 18:10 EST

i added a colossus

by Lynolf on 2008-03-25 19:56 EST

Go Tribal decks! :D

by Conkisstador on 2008-03-25 21:12 EST

im a fan of the clique+laboratory tech. altho i do feel that if lab is going to be such a preeminent part of the deck, why not run 24 lands or a draw effect to make it consistently into a threat?

by Mirror_Image on 2008-03-25 23:26 EST

Because when Scion of Oona comes into play, faeries get shroud and lab becomes inutile.

by gypsy on 2008-03-26 04:02 EST

thats why you dont play scions

by Eldariel on 2008-03-26 10:14 EST

Finally Riptide Lab gets its day in the sun.

by Pit42 on 2008-03-26 17:52 EST

gj sandoiche

by Acid_Christ on 2008-03-26 18:44 EST

I thought Burn ran Esnaring Bridge for aggro matchup

Don't run the Scion? Why would you want to let your opponents Shackles/Threads resolve?

by gypsy on 2008-03-26 20:14 EST

what can they threads if u have a lab and they just shackles ur scion, and threads si rly bad vs faeries, blue decks are your best matchups you dont need scion at all

by DESTRUCTOR on 2008-03-29 00:54 EST

sandchoice i believe that sun droplet is a good sb card on mono red red burn against aggro/mirror

:O go Venezuela xD
