Spain & TEPS strikes again!

GJ Navajita ;)

by Eldar on 2008-03-05 17:39 MDT

2nd. Btw I love that slide list.

by McRishel42 on 2008-03-05 17:40 MDT

I got top 6/10 and lost to Navajita in the fourth round, TEPs is the nuts. I beat him in the one game, but the other two games the way the storm went off was just crazy, he deserved to win. Good job to everyone in the top 4 and especially Navajita.

by mojo_jojo on 2008-03-05 18:16 MDT

Time to start playing stifle again

by Kholdstare42 on 2008-03-05 18:37 MDT

thats not slide...its Domain Zoo....

by Poopsack2 on 2008-03-05 18:39 MDT

and they're teps decks, not TES

by zig-goyf on 2008-03-05 19:01 MDT

teps is the best deck on single ell tournmant bc it so fast and easy to play

by trueeevil on 2008-03-05 19:04 MDT

Its not perfect, obv. Thats why its TES and not TEPS.

by gushatog on 2008-03-05 19:37 MDT

ideal > TEPS

by ChuckNorris on 2008-03-05 19:47 MDT

apparently slide.

by Conkisstador on 2008-03-05 19:47 MDT

ideal owns storm, yes... only if it gets the win faster.
in an environment of venser and cryptic command you really cannot count on ideal = gg.

by Wmagz007 on 2008-03-05 20:37 MDT

After looking at the lists by record Slide did go 4-0 and Zoo went 4-1 so umm I dunno what went on but yeah Slide went X-0

by BloodyAngel on 2008-03-05 20:47 MDT

GJ xzero(fundango) lol @ ur deck

by Avata on 2008-03-05 21:56 MDT

So, I'm not good at 1.x, but looking at all the NLB lists, why is Ancestral Vision there? It's slow (aren't there better options in 1.x?), and it's not like the deck is hurting for 1 drops, with spell snare, force spike, and top.

Also, wouldn't counterbalance be a pretty natural fit in NLB?

by Holzi on 2008-03-05 23:20 MDT

thats Zoo and not slide...

by Eldariel on 2008-03-06 00:20 MDT

Ancestral Vision is friggin' awesome. There's a reason those MUC-lists did so well too and Vision is basically it; drawing 3 cards for U is über, and the deck is more than capable of stalling for 4 turns. Heck, that's what it always does. And when you're about to run out of control, Visions resolves and you get a new hand.

The problem was that there is a Slide at 4-0.

except that its not next levek blue its previous level blue, while they loook similar i can tell you that they are very different, visions is better in this deck as there are no moxes and random artifact lands, etc to discard and you have more room for actual counterspells

by JudasPriest- on 2008-03-06 03:23 MDT

GOOOOO navaja!

by Strider45 on 2008-03-06 03:55 MDT

by Royalty on 2008-03-06 05:37 MDT

why does the Blue deck plays Hallowed Fountain? I don't see any card that requires white.

by MilanG[GER] on 2008-03-06 07:47 MDT

Destructor: Yes, that's why the error was made and that's why it was fixed.

by DaveK on 2008-03-06 18:12 MDT

Hallowed Fountain is there because the guy apparently tinkered around a list that has Teeg in the sb. He removed him and then forgot to change the manabase accordingly.
