by dv8r on 2008-03-05 11:23 EST

so, the mws shuffler makes combo decks unplayable right?

by BloodyAngel on 2008-03-05 12:08 EST

Poor RGB, no chance at all...

by dv8r on 2008-03-05 11:23 EST

so, the mws shuffler makes combo decks unplayable right?

i guess they must be used to stacking their deck irl.
computer shuffler > you. random for the win.

by fear_these on 2008-03-05 12:57 EST

BloodyAngel I beat 2 other Teps deck in this trial.
Lantero won when I missed my third land drop game 1 so I can cast Molten Rain, and I missed my fourth land drop game 2 and I would of done lethal with Firecat. Game 1 he still might of won with a lotus into play but he used all he mana to Tendrils me out so maybe not.

GJ Lantero

by therooster on 2008-03-05 12:59 EST

Whats up with people hating on TEPS? :P

My favorite archetype is aggro-control, but I don't go around badmouthing combo for no apparent reason o.O

by ElectricS on 2008-03-05 13:53 EST

you're playing 21 lands, you can't expect to hit every drop in every game. Mana screw exists, get over it and stop complaining.

by yavin1 on 2008-03-05 14:53 EST

Why do the TEPS decks no longer run sins of the past. That card is a second Mind's desire or a replay for a discarded burning wish. it
is so powerful.

by _SM0KE_ on 2008-03-05 15:17 EST

by BloodyAngel on 2008-03-05 10:08 MST

Poor RGB, no chance at all...

Playing ideal i lost to him round 3 =/

Turn 1 ape, turn 2 ape + bolt, turn 3 rain, turn 4 rain GG

G2 mull down to 5, turn 1 ape, turn 2 ape lavamancer, and rain again with me stopped in 2 lands =/

Anyway, gj

by therooster on 2008-03-05 15:35 EST

It seems like they are eschewing sins of the past for the digging suite of Plunge and Peer. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because these are some fairly potent spells in themselves for this deck, but it also seems like you could pop a random Sins in the board as a wish target as well...

by Lantero on 2008-03-05 16:40 EST

I like plunge + peer instead of sins because they can give you the NECESARY pact's in G2/G3 to deal with Gaddock's / Counters and stiffles to try the combo safely. They also can be useful to get cards on EOT to try a desesperate combo, when u are short of cards or your hand is slow and you need more acelerators to win.

@fear_these: You are asking for a perfect hand ( I think u plyed stomping ground Ape both games, and u had a good curve in general). It's easier for me get a turn 4 kill when u play 0 disruption than u have your perfect hand vs Teps (ape, ape + bolt, molten, cat...) or something like that.
GJ too.

by soldadoafir on 2008-03-05 16:48 EST

reamente essa construcao do teps ficou quase perfeita, todas as 75 cards em sincronia absoluta. ate por que fechar combo contra rgb-goyf eh coisa de louco. parabens cara...

by RiQuSP on 2008-03-05 17:33 EST

Yes I agree soldadoafir, also, when is ur mum available again?

by Jon_Ma on 2008-03-05 18:09 EST

I like the TEPS deck, seems really solid - the peer + plunge package adds so much consistency

by fear_these on 2008-03-05 18:53 EST

ElectricS I wasn't really complaining because I know I run 21 lands and can't expect to make all land drops. I was just saying how the games went in my point of view.

Lantero I wasn't asking for the perfect hand just a third and a fourth land. I had a perfect hand just needed to draw the lands and drew more drops. I am not trying to complain about how I missed land drops and loss I am just stating what happened.

_Smoke_, Game 2 I didn't have a molten rain, just Magus of the Moon.

by _SM0KE_ on 2008-03-05 21:06 EST

No, u didnt played any magus against me...
