I'm really surprised at all the combo. I was actually planning on playing MWC based on the fact that no one plays combo on M-L. Good thing I didn't end up playing.

And congrats, Rood. I guess when I'm not there to knock you out of Top 8 you can win. :P

Combo looks like it was a good choice, I was playing on the premise that I was unlikely to meet combo. I kinda rolled to Belcher round 2.

what card else would i always sideboard and remove to FOW?

k jk, it is not as bad as it looks, u can always throw away cards u dont want to draw with sensei and ponder...

Mental Note isn't bad, but it certainly is subpar compared to other options. And running more Mental Notes than Ponders should result in a lifetime ban from M-L.

Aside from that, I really don't think Stifle/Waste belongs in White Thresh. Either run UGr Thrash or run UGw CB/Top Thresh. Don't try to mix the 2.

I played spanish inquisition too, but lost round 1 drawing sphere, sphere, thopter, belcher on turn 1 infernal contract... 1 black card and i would be able to play culling and another contract, prabably ftw... G2 he did turn 1 sphere of resistance, turn 2 trinisphere... w00t =)

As to the Spanish Inquisition deck...Pact won against me, but wouldn't Cabal Therapy be better here (usable against other combo decks, and castable two times with all your 0cc creatures) ?
