Actually it might favor Pickles but its not like angelfire couldnt beat it. You know, Lightning Angels and Detritivores do sometimes happen.

surprising pickles got thrashed by AngelFire.....

This is unbelievable somehow. Pickles got more counters and their locks are way superior than Angels. Angels casting costs are high and way too slow for pickles.

everyone who thinks angelfire should've lost to Pickles should QQ more.

a - Angelfire is indeed on top.

b - a lock isn't 'superior' when you're facing vigilance.

c - good / bad matchup doesn't mean they automatically lose.

After all, look at Japanese nationals. Aussie Storm is supposed to own BG Tarmorack yet Tarmorack pulled 3-1

I don't know about you but if I play control, I'd like to have more than 14 lands in my deck. Especially as Brine costs 6 to play and 7 to unmorph. Just my personal opinion.

And no, I still don't think the matchup favors Angelfire. I'm just saying its not exactly a miracle that it won pickles. The matchup isnt THAT much in pickles' favor.
