The first place deck is almost identical to the winning deck in the Japanese nationals, save a few sideboard differences and a pendelhaven replacing a swamp. Congrats to top 4

ancestral is preety good because you dont need tendrils on the decks today... full of controls.... and riftsweeper is not good for standard now..

Hmm, UB Teachings no sudden death ? If playing against Loxodon and Teferi, how do you kill them without it ?

Even the older UB teachings are must better, the tombstalker somehow don't really fit into this deck. Maybe due to it's casting cost and power not high enough. Brine and vesuvan is still OK. And I don't see any Venser in there ? It's useful to bounce spells at least.

And the most important draw engines. Vision is easily taken out by riftsweeper. Even though, rift is no good for the new meta but still people will sideboard it. Think twice is still better after burn testing with older UB teachings.
