how would rift bolt be better? magus makes all the 3 color decks and stuff from like decent matchups to amazing matchups. and its not ugw goyf its ugw blink its like the exact decklist form us nats.

The deck I played is more of a blink deck than a goyf deck.

Magus of the moon is an excellent disruption spell against a lot of decks, reducing the amount of answers they can cast, and making for an easier combo. It also beats for 2 to make 6 grapeshots lethal.

I updated the sideboard of the nats build to include Quagnoth because I expected a lot of rack decks. I played 1 rack deck, and it was excellent there. I never sided in the 3rd Mystic Snake, but the other 14 cards came in atleast once.

strangely enough, i had the idea for goblin storm today, i was hoping i was being original. also want to point out the only ravnica card in that deck is giant solifuge sb...could be a real contender post-rav, plus we're probably getting even more goblins in lorwyn

Top 3 decks all have 3-4 sideboard cards against Discard/Rack... You have to pack to get through this field for sure.

Played B/G Pox Goyf, went 3-1, 7-1, lost on time in g3 to my opponent who didn't have a permanent on the board and i was at 16 life but my confidant kiled me.
