by KriswithaK on 2007-08-25 12:26 MDT

I would have won I was up 1-0 and in decent shape to win 2nd game but an emergancy came up and I had to leave whatever life happens....

by Ronnan on 2007-08-25 12:35 MDT

i was quite okay with the situation in g2

by KriswithaK on 2007-08-25 13:49 MDT

by Shiva on 2007-08-25 14:18 MDT

BG Rack w/ 59 cards /;

by Ironicus on 2007-08-25 14:43 MDT

OmniChord is maybe the best deck, but it's the most expensive too.

by TugaChampion on 2007-08-25 14:44 MDT

lol@KriswithaK

by styx^ on 2007-08-25 14:57 MDT

n1 kris playing a trial with an illegal deck(while you can see the number of cards in mws) :D

by aldaryn on 2007-08-25 15:20 MDT

what are the blue leylines sb for in #3 deck?

by aiutami on 2007-08-25 15:57 MDT

how did they not catch him with 59 cards? can a judge explain this?

by ChristPunchr on 2007-08-25 17:08 MDT

Maybe the leylines are some sort of weird tech for the aggro and pickles match?

by PsyK on 2007-08-25 17:16 MDT

Lol i actually have most of the omnichord deck lying round and i dunno what to play in real life, maybe i've found my solution.

by Spooge on 2007-08-25 17:40 MDT

Leylines are secret tech because with all the 4x permanent he has he gets to destroy all his permanents and beat himself preventing his opponent from defeting him that makes sence right?

by CalebD on 2007-08-25 18:44 MDT

If you think about it, the blue leyline should work against dredge just as well as the black one, and he can actually cast it if he draws it later in the game.

Hoards of 2/2 tokens? Nope. They might even struggle to get enough crits to recur an akroma (if they even run one) as the narcomoaba's will be killing each other.

It might be good against pickles... Keeping them from morphing more than one crit at once seems pretty good, or killing a bunch of morphs in the mid game.

Edit: Well then, it wouldn't really be game-breaking against pickles, removing their ability to permanently lock you doesn't mean they will suddenly stop winning.

by on 2007-08-25 18:56 MDT

morphs dont have names, learn rules tard

by aiutami on 2007-08-25 19:42 MDT

OMG A DECK HAD 59 CARDS! how come no 1 cares?

by gushatog on 2007-08-25 19:45 MDT

Lennin: morphs do have names based on the order they came into play. for example, mtgo calls them "morph 1" "morph2", etc. Leyline of singularity still is useless against morphs though.

by stenly on 2007-08-25 21:59 MDT

mtgo calls em morph 1 and morph 2 so u can tell who came first, but they got no name.

by Frylock on 2007-08-26 00:15 MDT

deck #3 must have played all control, because he has no way to do anything about creatures. Whenever I play the deck, I need to run damnation and tendrils or you just get ran over by a deck with a curve.

by on 2007-08-26 00:19 MDT

omg he ahs 59 cards, but he prob had to add a land and send tc new sec code, ppl stop being retarded theres an exlpanation for everything

by mandanglelow on 2007-08-26 01:56 MDT

Lennin: morphs dont have names, learn rules tard

when you flip a shapeshifter it will destroy both the shifter and the targeted creature...

by Rotstejn on 2007-08-26 03:19 MDT

Shapeshifter doesn't target

btw: Adrian faced a strange GW Aggro Build and Mono Blue Control

by mikeyk159 on 2007-08-26 08:40 MDT

how the fuck does omni chord keep winning, i play it so much on magic online and i beat the holy living shit out of it with U/B control(or U/B teachings control as i like to call it)

mainly because of platinum angel, but i mean come on, i still dont understand how it won nats, luis got so lucky beyond belief

by _bouncyer_ on 2007-08-26 08:50 MDT

anyone who plays competative magic knows that altough the rounds are split, NATS is a limited event. Most of the people who t8 do decently in the constructed and x-1 the limited.

by Ro on 2007-08-26 09:34 MDT

poopascoopa where are you when we need to pwn you. 2/3 decks of t3 were not netdecks. (Ronnan changed it a lot)

by Yatre on 2007-08-26 10:00 MDT

Grrrr DAMN U ronnan!

by mikeyk159 on 2007-08-26 13:06 MDT

he still got lucky in the top 8 all 3 matches ya fuckin retard, i know how nats works dick

fuck shit crap ah fuck you

by poopascoopa on 2007-08-26 13:39 MDT

Doesn't matter...it's still a netdeck. You can't copy a nats deck and change 3 or 4 cards and claim it as your own idea, tard

by TnNsucks on 2007-08-26 14:31 MDT

for those who still dont understand how leyline of singularity kills pickles, if you have a brine elemental face up, and they unmorph a shapeshifter copying brine elemental, both the shifter and brine will die to leyline because they are now both brine elementals.

by Ronnan on 2007-08-26 17:55 MDT

it´s an etablished artechtype
you can never claim it as your own idea...

by r0fl on 2007-08-29 00:04 MDT

TNN thats something i havent thought about before good job.
if you play chord for a while you begin to realize the genius of a toolbox full of creatures grabbing them at instant speed. its a really good deck if you play it a lot and know when to play the hierarch or drop a c. research. i havent gotten there yet though :/
